The song's name refers to grand guignol, both the real one and the black souls one. There isn't much meaning to it, I just like how it sounds.
The main inspiration for this is "die alone" from Sewerslvt. I love sad atmospheric noisy ambient combined with intense drumming too much not to steal the sound and put it through the meat grinder that my mind and music making process are.
