These guys are awesome. Making getting through the pandemic a lot easier. Listening them never ceases to make my feet tap or put a smile on my face. THANK YOU!!!!!

There is only one lead guitarist in Goose. Pete is good, but in no way a 2nd lead. He's keys, vocals and rhythm guitar. Occasionally he takes a solo during the jams, but that's as close as he comes to being "lead"
My son has been jamming to phish since he was born (his name is harry so Harry Hood has been a staple lol) now we jam to goose daily... thanks so much for putting these shows up! Best thing for my 2020... the goose is loose!!! I really hope y'all come to Nashville sometime!!! We'd love to have ya! Lol
New fan , wow ...this is exactly what I’ve been looking for .talented, cool musicians that have no ego and love to jam ,have fun playing, and cruise through the Galaxy on their music👏👏🔥🔥🎸🎸❤️🎯👁👁LOVE THIS
I am not a fan. It is distracting and doesn't add enough to the mix to be worth the effort. I prefer the distinct drumming sound of a single drummer than the more washed out and muffled sound we have now.
I also noticed that their (Ben's) amazingly crisp, but also funky and powerful drums are (ever so slightly) blurred with the extra percussionist. But at the same time, it seems like the band are having fun - the more the merrier. He's their buddy. And I like the story of an former member rejoining the band and finding a spot in another role as their popularity is growing. I don't know that much about the band or the actual story of how/why he left. Was it a personal decision by him - did he have other stuff going on? Or was he sort of sidelined for not being as good a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist as Peter? It's like if Stuart Sutcliffe had rejoined The Beatles after Germany. Or if Phish's own Jeff had rejoined... sorry, bad comparison. But most importantly, the overall sound is great. I'm just going by UA-cam videos, so people who have actually seen them can correct me if I'm wrong.... But, overall they sound as good, or better, than ever in the shows from this tour. They may benefit from an extra layer of sound and an extra presence and good chemistry, even if the percussion is (slightly) less crisp. The obvious comparison is to the Dead. There are many old Deadheads who argue that the their years without Mickey (71-75?) were their best, for the same sonic reasons you mention - they were much tighter. But ultimately, I think the Dead were better off with 2 drummers, despite a much more jumbled sound, and I'm pretty sure that's what Jerry and the rest thought too - except maybe Billy, haha. So I'll defer to Goose and be happy with whatever personnel decisions they make (within reason). I'll be interested to see what happens. Did they release any official statement about his status as a guest or permanent member?
I don't mind having a percussionist but some times bongos seem way out of place. Like during It Burns Within... I dunno maybe it's just me. I love the stand up bass work Jeff does with Rick and Peter. Either way I hope the Goose train gets a little closer to Philly ASAP. Still bummed we missed the shows in April.
Both The Dead and SCI get down with double drummers, so I sincerely salute Goose’s commitment to a drumming duo, partners in percussion, a pair of paradiddlers, twins of time ‘n’ tempo, brothers in beats, a couple of cadence creators, rhythm renderers ... you get the gist. 👍🏼🥁🥁 #Gaggleofgeese
the light of goodness flows through them, it is written in the stars that webbed footprints shall make their mark on this planet, electrifying souls once sad or asleep, and fill them with iridescence of a million galaxies, so that the Earth herself may rejoice, and dance joyous in the heavens! 💫✨🌟🏵🏆🎨🎸🎷🌠 Oh and practice 😉 Wait. was that rhetorical?
These guys are amazing. Was in my backyard for the live stream of this show. Great night, the secret agent man is pretty good. Ben is a top 5 drummer no questions asked.
Please come to Alphishretta, GA! They've been putting on drive-in shows at the amphitheater for a few months now. Used to be Verizon, but now it's Ameris Bank.
haha alphashredda. PH has played some killer shows there, none I've witnessed personally live, just online. they always loved playing Hartford tho so I lucked out there!
back in the day they used to call this the "good stuff" anybody want to see a Josh Garrels Goose double headliner 2 hours one set show at RED ROCKS! email them and make it happen silly.....

2021 has already been claimed by one GREAT band! Thank you GOOSE!!! Keep jamming!!
The bass drum looks so good with the lit up goose!
I just want to meet peter someday, just watching him always brings me good vibes and turns my bad day into a good one. You're the man Peter!
Met them once and they were the coolest dudes ever.
I work to damn much but I swear it's on my bucket list to hang out with Peter
@@madmaxgamingVOD i bought a ticket after the second day of discovering them. Took a bus from Toronto to Buffalo and it was the greatest show.
YESSSS goooooooooseeeee
Peter brings so much positive energy to El Goose, +good headgear and dancy tunes like Yeti. Awesome dude. Please come back to NC!
Ben's vocal talents are unmatched!
Wow! That lead guitarist is freaking amazing - with his OWN style to boot! So glad I stumbled onto this video.
What the heck?! TWO unique lead guitarists?! How long has this band been around?! Every musician meshes so well with each of the rest.
@@robertdennis2161 Enjoy brother. they never cease to amaze me

Adding a second percussionist took Goose to a whole new level.

How is it possible that they get better and better each show?!?
