Alhamdulillh. Jazak Allah khair. This video helped me understand 99 ayat of Surah Al-Anam. I was not clear what is meant by spathe of date palm and cluster of dates hanging.
Here ia translation of that ayah.
Al-An'am 6:99
It is He Who sendeth down rain from the skies: with it We produce vegetation of all kinds: from some We produce green (crops), out of which We produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near: and (then there are) gardens of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety): when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the ripeness thereof. Behold! in these things there are signs for people who believe.

I just have a one question if you can help us out, agar main koi date nursery ready karta hon or ya khajoor k poday khajoor k seeds say tayar karta hn tou how I will get to know during 1- 1.5 years that which date plants are male and which one is female... Bec. I don't want to put effort for about 3-4 years to know by their flowers....!! Kindly guide plz if you can Jazak Allah kahair...
