- This is the last song I had to learn off Time is Up and it was one of the hardest. There are some messy parts but this was the first sit-down with the song. Pete Webber showed me up on this one! I even had to modify a few parts because they were out of my reach. Enjoy.
Such an underrated band, Pete Webber is an insanely good drummer
One of my favorites
I knew this band thanks to this channel. Havok went to my city in Ecuador for a concert. There were no more than 200 people in the concert, and after the concert, I realized that this band deserves much more credit. They are extremely underrated and Pete is such a great composer. I hope I can see Havok opening a Metallica concert someday. That would be my dream.
Saddly, I never saw more covers of Havok in this channel.

Yeah I've considered it. Don't know what it would do though. I'm actually not that good at certain double bass patterns and never had lessons myself. My advice is always play along to albums! I steal stuff from everyone (fills, approach, etc.) along the way. However, proper practice would be sitting down and working on my speed to get that up - I never do that though!

Yeah this was really hard. I just sat down and tried to play it and it was pretty rough. This was my third attempt. It's amazing how getting warmed up makes such a difference. Thanks!

Like most meshuggah songs, there's always one part that takes me years to understand - let alone play correctly. I'd love to learn neurotica, in death is death or straws pulled at random. Someday I'll be able to play some more!

this song hardest? really? which parts did you find challenging and had to modify? not that i could play havok, but this seems like one of the simplest songs on the album. only medium-fast doublebass, and pretty basic thrash beats and basic fast fills.
The section at :15 I had to cheat because I couldn't do the speed on the ride alone. And throughout the song there's a fill to remember every 5 seconds. But I suppose there is no easy Havok song!
