Oh, there is actually one more tool I should have mentioned and I've been using it a lot. It's called Youglish and with this you can search for words to see how they were used and pronounced in real youtube videos by native speakers, just google it, I absolutely recommend this one
Dear Eva, just a small correction, Checkoslovakia was never part of the Soviet Union of Republics but was part of the socialist block of nations also known as Warsaw Pact....your brother from Africa.
Eva Yankola, thank you, I have been testing C1 and C2 on different online sites, though I have never been taught or been to any school, and still learning thanks ro today's amazing UA-cam free content. Your accent is almost perfect. I have relatives and friends who studied in Checkoslovakia and they loved the country and the people...your country used to be a basketball and football I mean soccer world powerhouse...when I was a little boy I loved watching your national teams playing....all the vichs in your names...popivich, they highly talented and technical players ...once again thank you for sharing your beautiful story.
Thank you for pointing this out! Apologies, I didn't get this right, what I meant was that in practice it felt like the Soviet Union, but sure, we were only the Eastern Bloc @@vennatuniv

This is an inspiration to me. I'm at Brit who used to teach English and my son is half Japanese and speaks both languages. But for me its more impressive when someone learns as an adult without having much exposure as a child. I'm currently doing French and would love to be your level.
I really like your modern neutral accent
Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been putting a lot of pressure on myself to learn English, but I think I should change my English learning method.
Your video was so helpful 🥰
Hi Eva,
Thank you for sharing your personal experience of becoming an English teacher.
It's an amazing and hopeful explanation and helps me to keep working towards my goal.
I've been working on my English skills on my own for 3 years about and I'm starting to get stuck.
I'm trying to regain my first motivation because I really want to become a better English speaker.
Thanks again and take care
Hi, Eva! Thank you so much for sharing your own experience , because everyone has his own.. I dream about having the level above B2! Unfortunately we sometimes get stuck and don’t know where and how to go further, that is why we really need the inspiration from people who were able to get over these issues! Well done!! I’d love to have a personal tutor like you! If someone is interested in it, I’ll be happy to have personal classes!!
Thank you, I feel that's the real path to master English, hard work and perseverance. There is no shortcuts.
Fantastic tips for improving vocabulary! Thanks for sharing them and your English journey ❤🎉
I really enjoyed your journey of learning english and becoming fluent like that and i promise to follow your steps to reach the level i am dreaming of. I watched a lot of videos on UA-cam searching for an any new process or an idea to help me improve my skills after failing hundred of times and i think i found what i was looking for.. Thanks.. A new subscriber to your useful channel ❤
Thanks for sharing these valuable tips and I want to greet you for taking the decision to follow your passion and chose teaching career over other jobs
Your English is authentic. Well done.
Hey, Thank you for sharing your story. It really felt engaging. I'm currently new to English because i recently started paying attention to it but before that i just didn't show any interest in it. My english is not that good, i always feel like I'm lacking somewhere but dont know the exact place where I'm lacking. But after knowing u also urge for knowing English completely. But you just cant, its getting more advance day by day. I think I'll never be able to cope up with that. Its a reality i need to accept.
Thank you so much, you gave some advices i never heard them before, i will try yo use them for my english learning.
Thank you so much,I'm studying by myself and its really hard to schedule an English study routine, sometimes I feel lost, mainly cause I don't realise I'm improving in it.
My dream is to become an English teacher one day❤
As long as you study consistently, improving four skills and learning new words, your English will improve gradually.
I've been studying English for three years. Recently, I've looked at my very first writings, and I was like, "Wow!" because they were full of grammar mistakes and wrong words, and I laughed at myself.
Each native language is going to have similar mistakes in grammar and pronunciation when speaking English so find those mistakes others make and correct them early so you don’t keep making the mistakes yourself and that can become a bad habit. I think it’s Russian speakers who do not use “the” when they should for example. If you find something like that from your native language work on it until the mistake disappears and you can be a great example for others to learn from what you have done like Eva is a great example. ❤
Top tier content ! Thanks a lot
Thank you. All I needed to hear!
Hi Eva, I’m from Vietnam. I can’t stop watching and listening your sharing, not because your great tips but also you’re beautiful eyes. 😊
My native languages are from the slavic group of languages as yours. (So listening to you is a big pleasure to me as everything sounds so clear!)
I started to learn English only at the age of 12 at school.
And now I came up with an idea to use youtube as a tool for learning language not only being a student and listener, but also a content creator 😅 And if somebody is reading it, I really can say, that it is an incredibly effective tool: when you force yourself to create in English but not only absorb, it pushes you to the next level!
I fully agree:)
Are you from Slovakia? I am from China, I was born in 1993, and I started learning English at the age of 12 when I was in secondary school. Chinese English has almost only input, no output, and in Chinese it is dumb English. Like you said,we should force ourself to create in English but not only absorb.
@@charleneyang6370 No, I'm from Ukraine. But when I declared that I'm just learning English in my 1st video, some people decided I am from Slovakia as you thought.
But some new viewers think I am native (which is tooooo kind). I say it trying to inspire you to create some content in English, as feedback from people can be helpful and motivational 😊
Good luck to you!
I rally admire your relentless efforts and dedication to understand the English language . My problem is understanding the structure of the language in general. I read news paper, books and extensively watch movies and still I am straggling when it comes to understanding . I am proud of your achievement . I was in your home town Prague last September and I love the city and the architecture. I am planning to come back some time in the future if God willing !
I love the way that you talk english, almost like a native. Thanks for sharing your history❤
😮 OMG thank you so much
I really appreciated it
I have been learning English for I while you really inspire me to just keep up
Thank you so much love you❤❤❤❤
Thanks a lot for the explanation of the frustration moment in learning English. Now I feel exactly the same. You re-invigorated me!
Keep going and listen to many Native speakers and slow down the speed at first if that helps. I love that people are motivated by others who also learned too. ❤
Hi Eva, I really enjoyed your video. I think one thing english-language "lovers" have in common (and I include myself in that group) is that above and beyond anything we see it as a hobby, there's an intrinsical motivation that for some reason we share... Just like there are a lot of things I'm not interested in and many people are, such as soccer... and I see the passion they feel for it when watching games, when playing and it just doesn't ring my bell at all. And they see me learning languages and teaching and how it really makes me happy and they don't get it lol... So I agree that for people that don't particularly like learning English but they have to, try and find some motivation... even though you cut it into small "pieces of motivation" or small goals so that they can feel they're making some progress and they don't feel discouraged. Once again thank you for your video! Hopefully one day I'll also get the C1-level.
Thank you teacher for your encouragement!
Thanks for sharing your story. It was very inspiring. ❤️
Thank you for the video. Good to see sharing your experiences.
Thank you for sharing your story. It makes me more motivation
Dear Eva, very glad to meet you. I want to become an english teacher as well, I'm brazilian, but I think that I'll never earn enough to live abroad for a while. Your humble words made me feel that even not living in a english speaking country, I can be a good english teacher, Thanks!
So happy to hear that:)

You are so good with the language
Inspiring story
Nice to meet you!! I've liked a lot your video. Kind regards from Spain!
She is a wonderful teacher
Impressive ❤
Same here. I got a C2 5 years ago. That being said, I still need to revise my English consistently since I'm not living in an English-speaking country. Furthermore, any language including English continues to evolve. I've been thinking to take the test again, but I don't know the latest CAE format.Maybe, you could give some tips on how to obtain a C2 in CAE.
Hi Eva
You are really great ❤
Thank you so much ❤
Great journey 😃
Thank you for your story. It's a surprise for me that you are non-native speaker. So I thought before I've read a title of your story. Your English is amazing! A lot of time and a lot of efforts are spent to get it!
Amazing. Thanks
Thank U for your inspiration...
The most striking and usefull thing for me was Steven Krashen idea. You don't have to learn target language you have to acquire it. It took off some much pressure from me)) Yes just live with the language daily, injoy it, go on with all up's and down's of your journey)
Thank YOU 🙏🙏
Great!!!!I'm Brazilian and I struggle with speaking English
Very nice and inspiring
Really interesting and informative,I really appreciate your time thanks 🙏
Actually I would like to ask how did you acquire advanced words. As we know advanced words, expressions, idioms whatever we try to learn something which are not common is completely an harsh time. I still forget lots of words that I have learned through the day.
1-did you use to go over every night what you learned and test yourself weekly?
-do you believe in acquiring words without really learning them but just by immersion or it’s much better to go over to reinforce them ?
3-did you limit your words you learned? Not to get overwhelmed
I’m currently working on becoming an English homework assistant and the TEFL that I wanna to past they acquire to have C1 level ? I’m concerned because i almost finish my English training and I’m not on C1 level at all , I would say B1 because my speaking is still low even if I expand my vocabulary.
Have you ever pass TEFL exam?
And when I googled online company they always require native English speakers so I’m on the fence and I’m fairly lost.
Could you please give me some advice?
I strongly admire you , your English sounds like an native speaker and it’s not yours so it’s impressive 😊keep it on 👏🏻
Thanks I enjoyed the video
Excellent thanks so much

Hi Eva, How are you? My name is 11:47 Gilberto. i am from Cuba. i have been studying english on my own for a long period of time for 10 years more or less, actually english is my passion now i am living in the USA and my english is getting better because i have much more opportunity of practicing with native english speakers and based on my experience to learn another language is actually really hard but is like you said i enjoy to learn something new everyday thank you for your tips 11:47
Respect from Poland 🖐😊👍
First of all, you're very beautiful. It was not easy to stop stare at you... wish you success and stay as fabulous as you are! Secondly, I totally agree that without practicing you cannot handle with anything in this life. It is like the first job when you're worry about if you fail or mistake. But with the beggining of the process you just start to feel the real taste and then get a useful habit of improving speaking skills. Thanks!
Thanks for your very real and sincere' confessin 'about your way of learning English.I t will certainly help a lot people like me who need some support in doing it.
Thanks a lot...
You are so cool teacher
thanks
I’ve been studying English since the last year and I would like to have a good pronunciation because I don’t want to speak English with a horrible accent 💔😅
my method is "immersion" , so i immerse myself in English, especially by listening to UA-cam videos and extracting new vocabs , i also read article and posts in different sites on the web like quora , its preferable to listen and read about topic you are already interested for instances i am interested in self help topics, so i have been listen to these kind of videos and history as well after that i widen my listening with new video related to different subject , but its important to make it fun and related to your character specially at the beginning of the journey
Would you tell how can i listening and read articles is there any web? ❤
Beautiful English..
