When I was 15 years old I found this song I dont remember how, but I fell in love with it and I have it written everywhere, my books from school, my msn messenger... I recently have found it again and I feel the same way
I still haven't found a pop singer who comes close to the way Darren sings.

So beautiful, older times when people used to enjoy a concert without a phone in their hands. And Darren has this surreal voice, singing this amazing song differently from the original version showing us how much he is made of melody. It moves me the way he sings "my darling, my beautiful darling .. " in the end. Such a true artist ..

I agree, Darren Hayes is so underrated, he's song is often uplifting or sexy and suitable for the bedroom or a date-night! And it is obvious here he can sing hes butt out! Many artist today make too much effort in dancing, special effects and what have we not (perhaps it is masking for lack of vokal?)so their voices live does not sound so good. When artist are truly great, you dont need all tht flashy stuff, it is enough that they stand and sing. Less special effect, better voice (I dont mind a bit dancing, but I prefer they sing) Look at Prince,George Micheal, Queen,Whitney Houston and Adam Lambert (just an example,there are more artists) they rarely used/use lots of special overrated effects, maybe some fire cracker,balloons and bit dancing and dancers, but it was/is more than enough that they just stand there and sing ,using their energy to sing , instead of remembering the moves for a beautiful choreogrphy , have you seen some of the concerts today? I prefer concerts like this, and there are handful of insanely talented singers like Darren Hayes, Adam Lambert etc that dont get same attention as Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift (just an example) aqnd it is insane to see that a person like Selena Gomez, she really eed more voice coaching as it isnt so strong and she doesnt have control over her voice and you dont pronounce the consonants,so its hard to hear if she is singing charats or carrots...just MY opnion,maybe Im totally wrong, but she has more subs, views than Darren Hayes, or even Savage Garden! WTF is it? Are the youth tonedeaf or is it that they prefer the insae dancing, too much special effects and image, than a great singing??? I am sad to see how it has just went down on good quality since mid/early 90ties to today, before that it was all about the sound, but suddenly the image was more important, looks, bling, and more edgy you are better it is...apparently, so so sad.
But thanks very much for awesome upload, this was an awesome performance and I so mucg wish Darren could get the attention,higher numbers that he deserves!!!

5yrs ago tonight I was watching darren live on stage at the 02 academy in Liverpool. .his first gig of the secret tour after 4yrs away..I was fortunate to meet him at this gig and I think it's time he came back..he's had 4yrs away again after The Secret's Out tour in 2012 and I for one miss him 💜😓
