If I may have my two penn'orth - I would say that this sounds pretty similar to early Pestilence, Malleus Maleficarum and Consuming Impulse era - especially in the vocal department. Cool stuff indeed.
The fact the Death on this cover looks like he's just noticing the fart he ripped five villages ago, which makes the title "On Pestilent Winds" so much better.

Those bands use breakdowns but they don't abuse them, and they use them tastefully, except for later Suffocation, they just suck.
