I've been doing that with an oil pump on my Mercedes. Takes a lot of time to take out those 5.9 liters of oil. In the meantime I swap other components like the oil filter. I no longer have the hassle of going under the car and jacking the car up. PS: clean the pump everytime you use it, it can clog
I made the mistake of buying one as well. It's very slow and on top of that the hose got stuck between the pan and the plastic baffles, so it took me like 40min of twisting, turning and proping it up with a coat hanger until I managed to get it out. In the end, nearly a quarter of the oil was still in the pan. I would not recommend that to anyone. Perhaps the pumps&piping used in high-end repair centers makes sense for them but the chinese crap is useless for the home mechanic. I could change the oil on all 3 cars at home for the time it takes to pump most of it out from only one.

after 5 decades of oil change slavery, I no longer do the filthy act of "changing oil". electric motors do not burden the owner with that. thankfully.
Wait until the battery pack dies....!
