A fine day over 4 months ago this song poped up on my spotify, I loved it instantly but was busy working and didn't catch the band or the name of the song. A few days went by and I was humming the chorus in my sleep, as soon as I woke up I went looking for it and found it. Been listening to it daily now.
Wow, Trevor has made these two singles in my opinion. Different vibe from the old stuff but it’s welcomed. Giving me vibes of when Matt took over in Rain City Drive. Congrats on two solid and great overall singles. Wishing you all nothing but the best!

i feel like you could interpret this song in a bunch of different ways, but for me it's definitely the way it feels to lose yourself in a toxic relationship, and knowing that you're making things worse too, but you just can't stop
Trevor Borg is one of the nicest guys I know. he loves his family and friends and he works hard to be a good father to his kid. He will get hate just like other bands but his story is amazing. Good job Trevor this was another great song you done Soo well to help this band and work things out. Stay positive guys some will hate just to hate what they don't like or are unfamiliar with... but you guys can make a difference.

Many of the lyrics of this song resonate with me. Whether this was the intended meaning or just my interpretation, the words describe how I felt while trapped in a manipulative and narcissistic relationship.
"If I make a sound / Chewing up glass, I spit it out / Whatever makes you proud"
This, to me, describes how it felt to say what was expected of me. Despite not meaning any of the words that I "spit out of my mouth", it was the only way to survive. Chewing "glass" (the words that hurt me to say) brings up images of a bloody mouth, and then spitting out the blood with those words - anything to make my partner "proud".

This was constantly on my mind. It made me sick how much I longed for who I used to be before the trauma, and sicker still imagining that this would be my forever state if I never got out.
"Caught up in the hell I've opened"
I was living in a hell of my own making; I found him, I chose him, and I stayed. It's easy to look back and think "why didn't you just leave" and yet somehow in the moment it never feels that simple.
Anyways, killer song, I sing it at the top of my lungs every time it comes on.

I love the power your voice conveys. I believe that a few seconds focusing on a guitar solo or drums ''stretching'' the energy of the song would consequently make me even more apprehensive. If the band had a space on stage like I saw in great legends of the past, that would be where the magic would be complete
