- I was invited to audition in-person for Sight and Sound and wanted to share my weekend adventure with you! This was my first time going to sight and sound , I’ve never step foot in the building until now. I had no idea what to expect and there was only one other vlog about the audition process up on UA-cam and it’s from over 5 years ago. So I knew I had to document my own experience to help future performers know what to expect from the auditions.
This was the best weekend ever I regret nothing (even leaving my MacBook and iPad in PA 😫). I would still audition again ten times over.
My biggest tip to you is have a good breakfast the day of and bring lots of snacks!
The atmosphere in sight and sound PA was filled with joy, passion, aspiration, and God's unfailing love! I hope you enjoy!

Praying that you get your callback soon! Daniel opens on my birthday, March 14th, and I’ll be at the 11AM show! Would love to see you on that stage! When you get back to Lancaster, Shady Maples is one of the best places to eat at. It’s a huge smorgasbord with lots of different foods, desserts and beverages, and a shopping area on the bottom floor where you can buy all kinds of stuff. Whenever I go to Sight & Sound I make sure I get by Shady Maples! God bless you, Sis!

Hi there miss Kay!! Not sure if it’s still too early yet to ask, but did you hear from HR yet? I thought usually auditionees hear something around October?
Yes they told us October they would start letting us know and I haven’t heard anything. One of my pals who auditioned said they called him so I’m hopping to hear back soon.

late to your vlog, im glad you got to audition but S&S dont really hire African Americans . There is not much diversity in their shows. ive been going since the 80"s. But wishing you the best.
@@imunique10 yeah I knew that prior but I was hopeful they were getting more diverse. I ended up not getting contracted for the 2024 season and I won't be auditing for the 2025 season.
