Thanks for that - never knew this had a deluxe re-issue - have to check it out! One of my most treasured albums - remember listening to it on the walkman in the car when my parents used to drive us over the A66 over the Pennines for camping holidays in the Lake District. Always associated the 'misty morning' lyrics on Children of the Sea with the Misty Mountains from LOTR as we drove over the top of the hills. Just one of those personal triggers that makes music so powerful
Yes! I'm really looking forward to that. I love the Tony Martin era, I regard it as one one THE under rated of eras of Rock and Metal. Check Out my Sabbath Retrospective if you haven't done so.
It's been a long, long time since I've heard Live Evil, I'm going to have to stream it and decide if this Super Deluxe edition is something I'd like to pick up or not. I guess my hang-up would be that it feels weird/odd (to me) that anyone other than Ozzy would be singing anything from the Ozzy-era Black Sabbath (or vice versa to be fair). Not sure how I feel about that at the moment but I will put my headphones on and we'll see! Anyway, thanks for going over this set, it certainly is impressive and I've heard great things about the remix album. I would for sure be interested in getting the Sabotage Super Deluxe Set, and would be on Born Again on day one if that comes out. The Tony Martin era is excellent also.
@@nightmarecabin8933 you're right, the official story says Cozy falls in a horse ride and gets hurt but another story says Cozy and Dio were like water and oil and Ronnie added Vinny Appice to the line up.

The Tony Martin box set is due later this year. I am excited about it as well. His stint with the band was underrated.

I can highly recommend the Sabotage set.
Is one mix not the original before Dio and Cozzy Powell remixed it without Tony and the rest of the band? And the other one was the one Tony mixed?
I honestly don't know, the details are so vague on this.
Cozy never was in that line up, Vinny Appice was the drummer.
@@thorba69 yeah you are right but dio and appice went in then remixed the vocals and that is what cause both of them to leave the band.
@@thorba69 That's right, although he was in the band in the early stages of Dehumanizer I believe.
