I've listened to many a gospel quartet, but none of them have EVER been as awesome as the guys in THIS particular formation of Ernie Hasse and Signature Sound!
Tim Duncan is so impressive... You know you normally see this big guy up there belting the notes and here walks out a 5"11 guy (if even that)that can gurth up the notes just as well as the old favorites. Such an awesome guy too. He has good things coming for him. God bless.
I love this combination of voices. Tim is amazing, Ryan has a fantastic voice, Doug has a very smooth voice and Ernie is an amazing tenor and leader. Love this group!
these guys are real Christian showmen.they put on a great show and sing some of the best Gospel music I've ever heard. they're not drunks or crackhead,no tatoos either....... but they can beat the devil back down with the best of em!! We need more men like this in the entertainment world. high fives to all you guys!!
Verse: Now there's a time, We feel alone, Although we've done no wrong,(Done no wrong), Oh Lord, (Oh Lord), Oh Lord, stand by me (Lord stand by me) And there's a time, We stand the test, Lord, you know we've done our best, (Done our best), Oh Lord, (Oh Lord), Oh Lord, stand by me (Lord stand by me)
I've loved this song ever since way back when George Younce sang it with the Blue Ridge Quartet. These guys do a great job with it, and the bass (Tim Duncan?) is awesome, one of the best bass voices I've ever heard!
Tim Duncan's voice reminds me so much of Tim Riley from The Gold City Quartet. What a song and what a talented group of young men singing for the glory of God.
Hey fellow southern gospel music lovers. Want to have some fun. Listen to the first version of this when Shane sang with the group then listen to this one when Ryan Sings. It is just so cool what one change can do. I think Ryan really added to the sound this group has. I also liked roy on piano much better than the original pianist, and hated to se him go, but wish him godspeed and all the best in his career pursuit. May God continue to bless EHSS and all of you who love southern gospel.
I'm from Australia and I've fallen in love with Southern Gospel but out of all the quartets I especially like EHSS. I also like the new singers that are in there now...
Tim Duncan isa great bass. Tim if you see this, check our another local groupd call The Kingsmen, if you haven't already. Of course, I'm partial to you. Ernie and Signatuare sure sound great. Love this song, you're dead if you don't get excited.
Tim is adorable. He has a sweet adorable smile. There is something really endearing about him. so im not getting the comment about wishing he would smile more.
(continued) is standing by you. His plan is not always clear, but it will work out for the better. Just trust Him and pray, and He will bless you and help you, and will, well, stand by you. Trust Him and praise him no matter the circumstances.
This is the best ever configuration of the group (including the piano player who also is no longer with them). Makes you wonder why everyone but Doug has left the group.
Yeah Hannah Otten they announced that right after I posted that comment. However the group Canton Junction now has Tim and Ryan so if Doug's solo career doesn't take of (like Ryan's didn't) maybe he will join C J too. lol
Ryan Seaton Is Now Singing Lead With The Union Street QT Guys Roy Webb Is Now Playing The Piano For The Union Street QT. And Tim Duncan Is Now Singing Bass With Canton Junction Quartet Now.
You are so right, medicineman. Shane was good, but when he sang, there was no life in his performance- it was like he was just singing the words. Ryan put so much more life into this song. The whole performance back in '03, I think, was just like any other gospel group- they dressed alike, there was no choreography, and no real fun in the song. I miss Roy too, but I pray he's doing well. I do love this group!
I used to love Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, but after Ryan, Doug, and Tim left it's just not the same. :( They were the three reasons that I listened to EH&SS
If you aren't aware of who Hal Lindsey is, he has written many major and reputable books on Bible prophecy, including "The Late Great Planet Earth". He is a graduate of the Dallas Theological Seminary (a major well known school which has produced outstanding & reputable Bible scholars and pastors. The quote from Hal Lindsey is the following: "You see, from Gods perspective the ultimate tragedy is not the age or nature of your death. The ultimate tragedy is to die without resolving where you
Marianne, the Lord is standing by you, even though you may not 'feel' it (although sometimes you do. and He does things for out ultimate best, even when we cannot understand his way. for example, many people were killed in the tsunami several years ago; I have heard the theory (& to me it's viable) that had these people not died when they did, they would not have accepted him in their lives; ultimately, God was being merciful to them. His ways are not ours.
barbsinbos is right. Although the things that God allows to happen may not seem to make sense, and sometimes can almost seem cruel, He has a plan. i just lost two close friends in a house fire last month. i know that God has a purpose for allowing that to happen. i don't know what it is right now, but i am trusting Him to follow what He told us in Romans 8:28, where He said that "all things work together for good to them that love God. Marianne, whatever your need is, know that God loves you and
The Bible teaches that if a person dies before the age of accountability, he is automatically covered by the atonement of Jesus Christ because he didn't have the ability to make a decision. There are many people in heaven from the Tsunami that wouldn't have been there if they had lived out their life." Last,I am not a Biblical scholar myself, but I think there are many examples in the Bible of how the Lord cut short a person's life(let him die)before he sealed his own fate for eternity.
Doug Anderson has not left where did you hear that Doug Anderson is still singing with them duh only Roy And Ryan And Tim Left but Doug Anderson has not left he is just going solo when the guys are not out on the road.
um no Tim Duncan does not play basketball this is too the same tim duncan he now sings with The Canton Junction QT now. And Ryan Seaton Now sings With The Union Street QT Now. And Ian Owens is now singing bass with The Ernie Haase And Signature Sound QT Now And Devin McGlamery Sings Lead With The Ernie Haase And Signature Sound QT Now.
I'm not so sure about that.. I'll give Duncan credit; he is very good, but I don't think anyone can touch the late, great George Younce; in my book Younce ranks among the best bass singers of all time.
I've listened to many a gospel quartet, but none of them have EVER been as awesome as the guys in THIS particular formation of Ernie Hasse and Signature Sound!
I love this Song & I love the way Tim & the guys Sing with the Excitement for God.❤❤❤❤

This is the best ever configuration of the group (including the piano player who also is no longer with them). Makes you wonder why everyone but Doug has left the group.

I didn't know that George Younce was Ernie's father in law. Is he really...
kinda makes me sad to see that all the audience is grown ups and elderlies ... youngsters and teens are missing something big here.
@doothless Ryan Seaton
I wanna do this song but my dad (manager of our family group) wont let us.
