My wife and I just got the Azure grey…she absolutely loves it. Originally wanted the hot chili pepper red but ended up with this color once we saw it in person….fits the vehicle very well.
Similar situation with me - at first was all in on Area 51, then changed preference to the hot pepper red after seeing it in person, but now leaning toward the azure gray.
The comparison of the two Broncos (viewed from the side) overlooks a major difference: the wheels! One is dark, the other with a bright trim ring- this impacts the way people perceive the color of the truck. A valid comparison would have used the same wheels on both trucks, or viewed them from the front only.
I own the Area51 and I constantly get compliments on the color! Fortunately, I do prefer Area 51..and I would never pay the 1k up charge for Azure Grey.
Between these two, my choice would be area 51. I like that slight shift toward aqua tone (turquoise). Area 51 is my preferred color among the available colors for Bronco. That said, azure blue is also very nice and a close match to area 51.

My racecar was painted original ‘65 code F Guardsman Blue. Everyone else trying for a Shelby look went with a solid color that was “close” for cost reasons. Even in the 90s metallics were much more expensive per gal. And my paint guy was a close friend getting the most affordable make of paint!
I love the Azur grey. I have an area 51. If the uncharge and metallic make it a harder paint to scratch then it's worth the upcharge. My area 51 paint seems to swirl and scratch so easy

Azure literally means blue or color of blue on clear sky. So Azure Gray would be Blue/Gray. That’s the color I chose and after seeing this, it will be worth the upcharge. Wish I had known about you when I placed my order.

I know I am really late to this but i was wondering if anyone can tell by looking at the wildtrak if it has an additional lift package added? I get the hard top and camera angles can change things but it looks taller than the OB, or is it just a different size tire? Hoss is slighlty differnt but sasquatch should be similar, but in this the WT looks far more substantial.
The Wildtrak is a trim level superior to the Outer Banks. Equipped as standard, the Wildtrak features the HOSS suspension. The tire size serves as a significant indicator of the Wildtrak's Sasquatch package, boasting 35" tires compared to the Outer Banks' standard 32" wheels. However, the Outer Banks can also be upgraded with a Sasquatch package, which adds a bit of extra height.
In the grand scheme of things I'd agree but being that most folks finance, the $1000 split through payments comes out to just a $10-$20 differences. Comes down to how much you really like it!

I have a Azure Gray Bronco and at night it looks gray and during the day a light blue gray. Would highly recommend Azure Gray!

They're both blue. I like the one called "Azure Gray" a little more. It's deeper, not as flat as the Area 51 color. IMHO
