Brilliant, thanks for posting this. Always wondered what the Okehampton bells were like as my brother lives nearby... never got to ring there though. They've got that lovely Gillett twang to them. Lovely ringing too!
Ohhh yeah there lovely looks like it's a competition practice for another 8 bell coming up somewhere. First time i met the trout's was when i went to Bickleigh near Plymouth there a nice little 6 but couldn't ring as they not met me before but thought some of the ringers up there looked so familiar. It was my dad's freind's wedding there & the ringing was fantastic!!!! 5 years ago we went there. Then i met them properly at the Major Final at Molland & there lovely lound heavy going 6 bells but one of the toughest rings of 6 in devon like Marwood my thorth home tower there awful.
Also I am not a fan of the 3rd, I think the tower moves slightly on that side meaning it goes way too far back and handstroke and is then harder to get the end to stay up at back.

Excellent call changes and striking and cartwheeling in Devon tradition 😊
Wonderful and glorious!

Thats very odd that the tenor has a red rope, only a few weeks ago I went and they had all ropes normal
Good to see one of the ringers ringing with the Devon Ringers. I assume he now travels with you lot now.
Which ringer?
@@ryantrout6094 Alban
He and I rung at same tower and therefore I known him for long time. We both rung from young ages. Alban advanced more with his method ringing to me.
Lovely sounding bells .
Wow! Amazing! 👍👍
A problem with it i think
Did it snap while you were there or was the red replacement already there?
Was already on
@ryantrout6094 Very strange, the sally looked like it was falling apart but they all do tbh
@@ryantrout6094 nice bells
