As an American, I have visited the UK multiple times and your site brings a sense of nostalgia for me to return once this damnable pandemic permits. Your videography is wonderful in 4K, please keep it up. Your coffee awaits.
It definitely has the look of it's share of battles in its history!..but look really peaceful these days with a quiet morning walk! Thank you for sharing this amazing stroll.
We can't thank you enough for your site. I was 17 when I finally reached England in 1974 summer, only 2.5 days, hardly saw anything, anglophile since 11, 66 now, and I met my now husband in his Scottish pub in the mountains of northern Calif. (closed now) but we can't thank you enough for posting all these wonderful videos for those of us who love history, who can only 'see' history through BBC murder mystery shows (Morse, Endeavor, Lewis, Foyle's, Pie-n-the-Sky, etc.) who might never be able to be in God's green and pleasant land. God bless you.
Very pleasant way to start the day... I enjoy history. Not only of my country (USA) But many other places.. especially the dark ages of England.. from the time the romans left up to the civil war. Very interesting how civilization fell and then rebuilt it's self..
Best UA-cam video of 2022! Thank you so much for sharing. As an American, I would not otherwise ever get to see something like this. Superior! Subscribed with bell.
Hello from Toronto. I only recently discovered your videos. I love them for their stunning simplicity. No music, no voiceover, no commercialism, you let the scenic locations speak for themselves. I’ve visited England four times and will never tire of seeing the exquisite historical towns and surrounding countryside. Thank you for this series of unique armchair travel experiences. They really take me there in just the way I would want to do myself.
Hello from south west England. Thank you for the lovely comment. Keeping things simple is often the best way to appreciate the simple things in life. I feel very grateful to be able to enjoy these places and share them.
Thank you. My days start with quiet time with God, the bible, A.W. Tozer, my journal, and tea. Then a nice walk with you and wherever you take us. My day is so much better.
Thank you sharing your video a green early and nice walk cruel history very typical that medieval 🏰 age sorry for your covid take care greetings from🇪🇸🏠
I like watch your videos before bedtime. It sets me up for good sleep. So good watching video with a short historical perspective. I find it educational.
I do earnestly hope you are fully recovered from the wretched Covid. Thanks for all you do to give so many people so much pleasure. Brian from Chichester.
Thank you Brian, that is greatly appreciated. I feel so much better now, I'm looking forward to some nice walks this year and being able to share them with equally nice people.
It's always a good day when one of your videos goes up 😊 What a beautiful morning stroll. I love how easy it is to find castles there -- is it just so normal that it isn't a big deal? I remember being absolutely fascinated! Hope you're on the mend and thank you for this video!
Thank you, greatly appreciated, I am feeling much better ☺️. I am lucky to have all these lovely places to explore and share. Now you have said it, it does feel quite easy to be able to find castles here... I'd never thought of it like that before... spoilt for choice!
As I listen to the beautiful morn-songs of all the birds welcoming a new day, and the crunch of your footsteps as you navigate the gravel path; my breathing becames slower and deeper, my body is totally relaxed, and I am there. It is just after 5 a.m. in my world, and I wish I could step outside my door, and continue this walk. My mind remembers the saying, "The early bird, gets the worm." Thank You, for sharing your delicious worm with me!
I do remember that saying Judy... it makes me think that the early riser also gets the lovely dawn chorus from the birds who catch the worms too. It is really nice to know that the walks are calming. Thank you for the lovely comment.
This was absolutely beautiful and I am now even more determined to start walking at this time of day. What time do you get up, may I ask? The sky and light at 8.49 was breathtaking and then 2 minutes later it got even better. What a sad history, though. How awful that someone was so cruel to his wife in such beautiful surroundings. (Or at all, but it’s somehow sadder for me). You‘ve inspired me to start a new project, Adam. I love your quiet, beautiful content.
It was quite a late start for me I left the home just before 7am. I'm really looking forward to the summer and some 5am starts and the birds dawn chorus. There is so much history surrounding the castle, I kept going down wormholes of stories. That is so lovely if you are feeling inspired. As ever Lauren the kind comments are greatly appreciated.
Hope you are feeling better (post-covid). What a haunted walk! Terrifying history, and what became of poor Elizabeth? Me thinks that place was cursed, returned and restored by nature. Still, something foreboding in this walk that I can't explain. Cheers.
Thank you, I am feeling better and really looking forward to some walks soon, after the Storm Eunice passes in England. There was something mysterious about the walk... the history still hanging around in the morning air...
Really enjoyed this tour/walk. So sorry to hear that you caught the dreaded Covid. Hope that it wasn't too bad for you. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you for sharing them. Take care.
Thank you, that is really kind, I really do enjoy sharing these walks. I'm recovered and feeling much better and looking forward to some great morning walks as the days get longer.
What an incredibly breathtaking place, Adam 🧡. The light is magnificent and what a feast to hear so many birds chirping away! Thank you for yet again a wonderful walk 🙏🏽 Also, I wanted to say how much I always appreciate that you keep each sentence on screen for a good amount of time. Not only the walk is relaxing this way, but also the reading can be done at a very slow pace. Love that! Sending you warm greetings from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
As ever Michael your kind and considered comments are greatly appreciated. Thank you for noticing that about the captions also, they are meant to be read at a slow pace and easy to access, not everyone can read at speed or has English as their first language. Maybe one day I'll do walk in the Netherlands! Best wishes from 🇬🇧😊
Your walks give me so much inner peace, I love the way you capture the sky If you ever make a morning walk video in Christchurch meadow in Oxford, I would be so grateful I miss my morning walks there so much
That is very kind and nice to know that the walks bring some peace to you. I've popped Christchurch meadow on the list. A day in Oxford at some point this year would be a treat.
Thank you, I feel much better now and really looking forward to lots of nice walks this year. I need to make sure you have some new ones for your mornings ☺️
I have been watching every morning! Glad you are much better. I have the videos in a library list ( a first for this 77 year old ). I have passed at least two of the videos to friends ( one widow & a cancer survivor who has adopted tea as her favorite morning wake-up ( taste buds with treatment ). Your walks are so comforting, so beautiful. Thank You 🙏🏻🕊🕊🕊
It was a very atmospheric morning. I am fortunate being male and 6ft 4" that I can walk around this places alone with some confidence... most of the time 😋
I enjoy going for walks with you. I like the quiet relaxing content . I live on the other side of the world and have never been to your side but I really to hope to . I was sorry to hear that you got the Covid 19 and hope that you are Okay now! I am sending you a virtual cup of coffee .
Thank you for another great video.love the castle. Another thing i wanted to add is that the dude that built it didn't like his 3rd wife to much lol. You do an awesome job with these videos. Thank you cant wait for the next one

Love the atmospheric video; nice to hear the birds cooperating.
The birds on these morning walks are the best company to have

Доброго дня, дякую за прогулянку. Таке враження що у вас не було зими.

Everything looks beautifully mystic in this light...
Thank you. It was quite an atmospheric morning.
Another beautifully shot video. I especially enjoy the morning light and birdsong.
Thanks Mark, the birds seemed very vocal that morning. I'm really looking forward to some dawn choruses in the coming months.
What a pleasure to have find such a beautiful place and it is so kind of you for always wanting to share it with us ❤ Always enjoy your walks, Adam!😊
Thank you. It really does make me happy doing these walks and being able to share with such nice people. ☺️

It was a lovely walk but a contrasting history... medieval in lots of ways ⛓😳. Feeling better and looking forward to some new walks 🇬🇧👋

Загадочная атмосфера... тихое старинное место, будто уходишь во времена рыцарей и дам... Спасибо за чудесную прогулку! :)
Вы можете себе представить все пиры и драки, которые должны были происходить здесь. Спасибо :)
I love the history lesson in the captions along with the walk. Thank you. Hope you're feeling better. 👍🙂
Thank you, I am much better now ☺️. It really was fascinating doing the research around the history.
Thank you - the perfect video for just before bedtime. Such a tonic, so peaceful. Wow that sky!

My pleasure from one small town to another… though I imagine small town Texas is quite different to small town here 😅
Yes, quite different… I think I would like your difference much better…
