Protip: Double tap the green sync button on the front of the controller to disable the paddles. Controller will shake 4 times to let you know it worked. Double tap again to reactivate.
+ptyoder Yeah, I put it down on my leg the first night and apparently held the "Y" paddle down while in the menu in Destiny and left my Strike team high and dry in the Nightfall. Whoopsie. If you were only planning to use 1 of the 2 configs on the controller itself, you could set the second one to not use the paddles at all for button presses.
+tomacide320 I've bought every other CoD (often regretting it) why stop now? Plus Battlefront because "Fuck Yes, Star Wars", and Halo 5 because I've played all those as well. My wallet is going to be so thin... - Goat
I've heard elsewhere that the paddles on the back are so sensitive, people keep tapping them by accident. Like overly sensitive. Did you have the same issue?
+Christopher Murphy I would hit the bottom left one due to the way I hold the controller so I just took it off. I think people have to get used to there being something back there, not just having a death grip on the controller. - Goat

Be careful setting it down. The paddles will register. There's already a post on reddit of someone deleting a character accidentally.

+Goat 'N Hog Also be careful not to delete your sword or something by accident... ;)
+Brian Acland No, I'm stupid sometimes regardless of controller... :P
You gonna get blops 3? I think it'll be great for that game
