I remember my senior year of college I had to take my sis in cause my mom was in the big house on a drug charge...I applied for the kandi cares scholarship, went to the Great Xscape Tour in CLT and told her about it and she made sure my application went through- my name was the 1st on the list, no alphabetical. Kandi is a REAL class act- What you see is what you get frfr 💯 she's so genuine and kind its inspiring. May God continue to bless her and her family 🙏🏾

I have always liked Kandi but watching this Speak on It I love her even more. Brian is most definitely my favorite. He is such an inspiration. You never know what someone else is going through. We all, an I mean everyone of us, have some trials and tribulations that we must go through. I never take anyone for granted, regardless of their status. I never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me when I was going through my hardships, that’s why I never said or asked for anything. People handle things differently and I’m just happy to know that Brian is in a better place now.
This was a really good Speak On It. Its so crazy that Brian Is this weeks guest because last night's episode sealed the deal for me, Brian is my fav on the show. He gives the fun & funny but to see that he's is also real about his life struggles makes him even more likable! Yeah he got sassy with Phil but Phil is giving militant & needs to be a lil more personable which I think Brian could help him with. Overall I like the show, a lil too much attitude from some of the cast but I'm here for the Brian
I absolutely appreciate seeing no division between people with different preference and identities. Sometimes I feel like TV just keeps the walls up that separates groups rather than bringing them together, and what makes it better is that is dispels homophobia in the black community. Not to say hemophobia isn't there, but this show helps normalize that community can be accepting and full of love. I love it Kandi! You are a forerunner!

I have always liked Kandi but watching this Speak on It I love her even more. The way she treats people and especially her staff is beyond commendable and for that she will always be loved and appreciated. BUT BRIAN ....babyyyyy you are a star, an overcomer and an extremely brightlight. You've touched people in ways you would never imagine. I had to try my hardest to not cry because every person at some point goes through dark times but it takes soooooo much strength to pull yourself out and come out with a smile on your face.

Brian is most definitely my favorite. He is such an inspiration. You never know what someone else is going through. We all, an I mean everyone of us, have some trials and tribulations that we must go through. I never take anyone for granted, regardless of their status. I never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me when I was going through my hardships, that’s why I never said or asked for anything. People handle things differently and I’m just happy to know that Brian is in a better place now.

This was a really good Speak On It. Its so crazy that Brian Is this weeks guest because last night's episode sealed the deal for me, Brian is my fav on the show. He gives the fun & funny but to see that he's is also real about his life struggles makes him even more likable! Yeah he got sassy with Phil but Phil is giving militant & needs to be a lil more personable which I think Brian could help him with.
Overall I like the show, a lil too much attitude from some of the cast but I'm here for the Brian

I absolutely appreciate seeing no division between people with different preference and identities. Sometimes I feel like TV just keeps the walls up that separates groups rather than bringing them together, and what makes it better is that is dispels homophobia in the black community. Not to say hemophobia isn't there, but this show helps normalize that community can be accepting and full of love. I love it Kandi! You are a forerunner!

I’m so proud of you and I will continue to lift you up in 🙏🏽as you grieve. I just lost my cousin & my aunt a few days ago all on one side/maternal. We’ve had so many deaths that I can’t count over the past yr so grief can overtake you. My cousin in LA Nov 2020 jumped from a bldg leaving her 2 children & estranged husband. Oh how I felt U.
