Man that is a sharp looking tele!
That Brass nut looks like it just belongs there! As far as the electronics go, there's a saying that goes "sometimes less is more" haha. So you're all good there! Can't wait to here this thing in action.🤩

Beautiful body, and beautiful neck.... and looks to be a quality instrument. That's gunna be a killer guitar when you're done with it.

@@2bikemikesguitartopics145 Going pretty good Mike. The new job is hitting me hard!! I'm old to be learning the high-level stuff I'm dealing with. But I like it.... so that's good. So long as I can survive this "opening salvo," then I'll be good to go. It's just got a really high degree of difficulty. but I'm hanging tough. Made a REALLY bad decision a couple weeks ago! No... not yet another guitar. A way worse decision. Bought a brand spanking new Chevrolet Silverado RST Z71 in North Sky Blue. it's stunning, and sporty. Yet also pure luxury on the inside - like a Cadillac! I am loving that! So things are good. Hope you continue to do well also, my friend.

Cant wait to hear the tones of thos beauty. The brass nut looks good but in my opinion a black tust nut would look even better having that neck binding

I agree about the black nut color. However I didn't have one and finding one at the thickness that was necessary I could not find so I ended up using the only nut that I could put in there that I had available to me and I thought the brass was a reasonable option although it's bloody hard to adjust the slots because of its hardness and the nut files that I have are really not meant for brass but I made it work anyway even if I have to replace my files

Really need true bone nut blanks (oversized blocks with no slots) and a string spacing ruler to make nuts from scratch when dealing with all these different nut slot dimensions.

I've thought about that and have shied away from it. That is probably the next Direction I would try going. I find the true bone and nut bone and all those types of material extremely hard to cut with the nut files that I have. They are the Japanese made slot files at different widths that cost $20 a piece here. It works pretty good on bone but the new bone stuff not so much. Have to work twice as hard to get the slots cut with the same files. What kind of files do you know about that would work well on that material?

I find it annoying where the factory fails where you can't see, like crushing the sawdust into the area around the pick guard holes. I know it's about 3 seconds of saved time vacuuming that up. However, I'm nitpicking at a budget guitar. (I must be getting spoiled with all the good stuff at reasonable prices!) Shame about the titanium nut. Looks cool, but...

Crushed Sawdust around the pickguard holes and others are annoying to me on all of these budget guitars as well because it's only about 1 to 1.5 seconds when they use compressed air to blow it away instead of taking the time to vacuum it. But there are those who tell me I nitpick also
