I liked this video, it will be our first time driving to Florida for Disney. I'm one to say ugh anything more than 10 hours hell nooo lol. This video gives me an idea that it won't be that bad. You are right about one thing... Cost of flying is expensive and if you can save $$ on driving than flying go for it. I will agree too that any time you go on a trip with family is the best way to do it. Memories will last forever
Hey renevargas1349. I am happy you liked the video and hope you are taking a road trip soon. The adventure getting to your destination can be just as fun as being at the destination. We are road tripping to Disney again this spring break! We can wait. Thank you watching!! :)
I drive from Hou to Orlando every other year. Love the drie and usually stay the night at Daphne, AL or Pensacola, FL. I'm 70 so can't drive straight. There is always traffic at the Mobile tunnel if it's a weekday close to people getting off work. There are some amazing rental homes in Kissimee.
Hi Jeanette. Than you for commenting. I don’t like to drive straight through. Sometimes I gotta get back home quickly for work, and yes the Mobile tunnel is always busy. Kissimmee is my favorite place to stay when going to Disney. Very close to Disney and awesome places to stay.
Hi Naomi! You are very welcome. If you love road trips the drive is awesome. We are going to do it again very shortly! Make sure you car is in good shape, have some snacks and entertainment and you are set!! Thanks for watching. 😁
Mobile has been rough every time we have drove through it! We have also run into storms in Florida that has slowed us down. All worth it for Disney though! :)
Hey FallenSun! You can get Sunpass at pretty much any rest area or gas station. You can get Sunpasses that hang off your drivers mirror and when you go through the toll booth it will charge it. You just have to make sure to credit some money on your account.
Hello Roba- I think one of the biggest reasons to drive is just cost. Three tickets run you anywhere between $800 and $1200 dollars depending on when you go. Not to mention having to pay for a rental car or Disney transportation. Driving is around $200 or $300 in gas. Plus there is something to be said for sharing time with your family on the road. If you don't like to drive then you probably would hate road tripping. Thank you for watching! :)
@@FunNowRunLater yea I hear ya on that last time we went my toddler woke up sick so we had to stop every 45 minutes to change a diaper made that last 300 mile leg feel like an eternity

how do the toll roads work in Florida while using a rental car?

How is it 16 from Austin when it’s 16 from Killeen and Austin is a hour from Killeen? Are you not going down 35?
Hey Qudarro. We do not take 35. We go 71 to Interstate 10 and then 10 all the way to Florida. Thanks for watching!
So how long did it take to get to florida in your vlog Quadarro? Oh thats right you dont have one.
@@FunNowRunLater cool thanks for the info!!
