"It wasn't as bad or good as it looked." Well said and after week 2, thought we were a bit ahead in terms of schemes. I'm not disappointed with week 3, still learning but week 4 needs to be cleaned up by the entire team if we want a chance
It was tough loss we didn’t look that great but it was Detroit after all a Super Bowl caliber team learn and grow from them and prepare for next game at least we aren’t 0-3 like the bengals keep your heads and spirts up my cardnials it’s just the beginning still of football we have a long ways to go and if we constantly look down and disappointed it will be a long ass season
I get u might be in your feelings and all, but to say the Cards SHOULD have won that is not realistic dude! Now we heard you on a couple Lion’s shows and you were a great guest- very humble. If u watched this game u were never gonna win it. That said, great game Cards fans, your team is definitely on the rise. It’s just a year early is all. Ya’ll will be damn good next season!
I would say there were 2 plays were kyler made really poor plays. 1 the int... I think he made that decision before the ball was snapped. Because wilson was wide open on a crosser at about the 12. And on the 4th down he ran. Wilson again was wide open about 8 yards down field and kyler decided to run vs just a little dump off. Both plays seemed like he made the decision what he was gonna do before the snap
@@brianpigati2177 yeah the 4th down wasn’t great but running the ball on the first three downs was the bigger issue IMO. 4th downs are such crap shoots
The NFL has become a war between the Shanahan tree and the McVay tree philosophies. The Shanahan trees are staying more fundamental in their approach. Leaning heavy into the run game. Etc. McVay schemes are imploring more complexity in the passing games. More motion. More dynamic route concepts. And then you get the McDaniels who implore a little of both, but he's rare. Petzing needs to adapt his passing philosophies a bit IMO, and look to bring a little more of that dynamic element to the route concepts. Bottom two in WR separation isn't all on the WR's.
I was at the game. Lions outplayed the Cardinals. Lions ran the ball the Cardinals couldn't run the ball. I agree, after the interception, The Cardinals should have kicked a field goal for a one possession game. The Lions flea flicker touchdown was executed well. Murray pass game was off. Lions win.
Goff threw for 199…lol we can call that 200. But seriously, some guys you don’t want to win…draft position matters. If you aren’t competing for a Super Bowl this year, no need to rush…get good slow! If Detroit would’ve won one more game in 2021, we would’ve missed out on Aidan Hutchinson, there are blessings in disguise.
The goal is to win Superbowls every year even if your not that good you should have that in your mind of course the building of a team but you think building teams are saying since we're building let's lose this game no not everybody wants to get good slow you just might not get there at all!
Wtf did kyler do or didn't do differently to prepare? Thats The question ❓. Why best passer rating week 2 and THAT Performance if u can call it that yesterday? What was different? Same Detroit team that went to OT at home w Rams. They had Kupp all game long yes.
Missed opportunities? Lol. That’s kylers m.o.. UA-cam search Kurt Warner and his breakdown of Kyler in kliffs offense. He shows play by play where Kyler fails to throw and make hot reads, missing wide open receivers because he can’t throw it quick enough. Slow on reads and check downs. Remember when Deandre Hopkins and Kyler got into it with Deandre saying, what do you see out there, I’m trying to win. Then Kyler’s says, chill out bro. Deandre then fires back, oh fuck no. Kyler is a cancer.
He started out great. He got Kyler on the perimeter and made it easy on the oline and put a lot of stress on the Lions Dline. Then inexplicably he just went away from it and guys just couldn't get open and Kyler forced a lot of throws.
Wilson had 64 yards not 70..I said before the season McBride numbers will drop.106 targets last yr cause he was the only one who stayed healthy and Murray likes to lock on one target each season.. numbers last yr were inflated.. McBride good TE but like Iverson in basketball when multiple attempts you will get numbers
This is the game you need your 46 million dollar qb to step up, when your run game isn't going. Defense kept us in the game

no run game which in turn made us 1 demensial

Goff didn’t have to pass cause Cardinals still same as last yr can’t stop the run.. should continue vs Wash..
