she definitely isn’t dead, not only is lizzie’s contract still going, but everyone at the top of marvel is talking about how this is only the beginning for wanda

Let me just say that I’ve seen so many edits and tributes to Wanda with this song. But so far your version, slapped me hardest. My fave part was when the line “I’d get him to swap our places” was portrayed by the two Wandas with a side by side comparison of their respective realities, just shows how 616 Wanda would do and give anything to escape her miserable existence. She’s loved in every other universe, with her kids, and possibly with Vision, Pietro and their parents as well, but in her reality, she’s all alone, hated and feared. Where were the Avengers when she was breaking apart and making dangerous mistakes? Nowhere! Strange literally approached her for her help and she thought he was trying to judge her for Westview, it doesn’t take a genius to know that she doesn’t exactly have anyone to rely on but herself. She makes one mistake, and the whole world literally forgets how many times she saved the world, how many times she sacrificed for people who couldn’t care less about her or just straight up fear and hate her. Who wouldn’t wanna escape that reality, that same waking nightmare? Puts into perspective what long term grief and trauma can do to people. She’s not a MONSTER, she’s a MOTHER, but more importantly, she’s HUMAN.

I hate how people act like Wanda doing anything to get back her loved ones and being overly paranoid about losing people again to the point she wants to avoid any chance of them even getting sick or hurt is bad writing. After everything she went through and everyone she kept losing her being crazy and paranoid driven by a desire to get back her family and hold onto it and a fear of losing them makes sense. She doesn't want to hurt people but if it means she can have those she loves back she's willing to do anything because of how deep her pain and depression is being alone. She's probably convinced she's cursed, she's literally in the book of the damned. Every time she finds happiness and someone to love it gets ripped away from her. And people say she suffers no consequences? Xx
Wanda story can't end yet I need her to meet Billy and Tommy again but this time they acknowledge Wanda is their spiritual mother
I literally had to sit in silence for a few minutes to take in how epic this edit was . Wanda is my favorite avenger and this really shows her story beautifully. She really deserves better and I really hope she isn’t dead .

Still, that story is quite boring and stereotypical (the most common thing present in almost every broken hero's/heroine's backstory - grief or personal loss of her loved ones, as their motivations for the acts done by them). All I want is a sadistic antagonist (like Joker) for her, that's gonna be very funny and exciting to watch her in pain & getting broke (same thing goes for other dramatic & broken heroes/heroines too)😁😄😙😏

OMGG!! This version of this song is so perfect for this (I'd get him to swap our places. That's literally what Wanda wants!) ! And you edited it all perfectly! The parallels and the voice overs!!! The parallel between her loosing her family as a kid then as an adult, her saying 'I'm still me I think' after she charges into battle during Sokovia. Ahhhhh such good edit as always!!

Actually, not desiring to swap places, but resume her life with them **locking away or killing the mind of Wanda/THE Scarlet Witch in another universe so she can enjoy raising them herself in potentially each universe if that's what it took *depending on what choices/paths each son takes that could potentially lead to an early demise in THAT single universal life of them both* and she IS the most PERFECT parental figure for those who know her real & true story from comics.....

But like when she was shown having locked the mind/psyche of that universes Wanda's mind....eventually like it was shown when she destroyed the Illuminati and all that, she was inside the mind of the alt Wanda. Her initial goal was to eliminate that universe's Wanda psyche and take over to resume the life there. Many say "well, that universe's Wanda wasn't strong enough to our Wanda's level" but as it clearly shown.....A ) She didn't want Am Chavez's powers of traveling portals. As she stated : "The Dakhold has shown me The Truth" .....granting her capability to travel psychically in her Astral projection self thru the ethereal plain to resume over another Wanda's life in that universe. She was going to leave her body here after taking over. In order for someone to take over another's body/shell is so far known as that form of travel.
In the words of Stewart's version of Prof X, in The Last Stand....he was presenting to class a body born absent a conscious/conscience he mentioned to them about what if one day we were able to transfer bodies via transferring our consciousness/conscienceness???? Then when Dark Phoenix *so far BEST represented in that movie with Famke Janssen playing Dr Jean Grey....she destroyed the shell of Prof X back at her home after telling/warning him to stay outta her head. In the end or mid credit scene it showed that man's body Moira McTaggert was caring for waking and you hear Stewart's voice speak out "Moira" as if he is in pain....
With Wanda having locked away the alt Wanda's psyche in the rock pit, she knew Prof X was in that head as Wanda was taking over that body with her consciousness/conscientious and ultimately to keep from having interference, she would ultimately have to kill off that one locked away. If a body doesn't have one, it becomes....brain dead...so far that WE as a species know of in present time.
B ) She *our Wanda* wanted to close off access from others to interfere with her plan. That's why she wanted the sacrifice of Am Chavez! She KNEW she could transport Strange, others to where she would be at Mount Wundagore to stop her plans. This also is where her original story is known as the demon that gave her the chaos magic, Chthon, was going to use her body as a vessel to return to whichever realm/universe she offered herself up for...like when she was standing or levitating above the sacrificial table as IF she kept Am Chavez's portal walking thru multiverse of all the universes, that would allow her possessed by Chthon to travel across all the universes destroying ALL versions of what one day science will start classifying *in my theory and glimpses of events to come* each new already discovered hundreds of thousands of galaxies as science already proven *facts* having planetary systems like ours. Earth like planets from surface viewed as from a distance of having life sustaining element *water* on the surface. I can see science coming to saying Earth-1 to Earth-838, Earth-616, etc to decipher other galaxies in dark matter of space to have easier locations of categories/labeling to tell them apart. When in fact labels do more damaging towards human species and all living organisms in the long run, but the Dr Strange movies, Wanda Maximoff/The Scarlet Witch storylines, portals, demonics, "the others", Tulpas, and much more exist out there than just spirit (once having been human) and demonics!!!!
So should a demon return of that status and having capabilities of crossing universes c/would cause Agatha Harkness the point of saying The Scarlet Witch is a legend/myth. Living incarnate now would potentially lead the world (worlds like planetary systems in multiverse) to destruction comes into play. 😉
That's all I was trying to say in simplified terms....

By destroying the Darkhold is every Universe she saved countless lives from being affected or corrupted by that book. Specially since we saw that it basically screwed several Doctor Stranges and caused an Incursion. In one act, Wanda did more good than just helping defeat Thanos in one Universe.
People saying she's unredeemable are the same people who still root for Kratos in God of War, a man who slaughtered countless innocent for revenge, Omni-Man in Invincible, a man who killed thousands just to prove that human life is meaningless for them, Loki who killed thousands because apparently his adopted and had a rough past, and Sinister Strange who destroyed his entire Universe to get his love one back.
Some may but I don’t see her as a villain. She did what any mother would. I hope that her story doesn’t end here, she deserves a happy ending.
I mean, personally, if I lost my family and I had the same powers as her I think I would have made the same choice because life only brought her unhappiness and trauma I hate that she was made to look. Wanda is my favorite MCU character because she’s badass and she’s a more realistic character because let’s be honest if we would have lost our family, our friends and had these traumas we would have made the same choice

I only found this video recently, but I’ve been going through some difficult events and always find my strength in Wanda as a character. This particular edit brings me some kind of hope somehow, which I desperately need right now. Beautiful work!

I cried watching this and I love how it depicts her story
I think it's kind of funny how everyone says M.O.M was bad because of Wanda's story and motivations. But, no one ever mentions anything about Dr Strange and his motives in M.O.M as well. Three versions of him caused incursions because of the DarkHold, two actually managing to destroy 2 entire universes. And the best part is, One of the Stranges used the DarkHold for the very same reason Wanda did, to find a lost loved one. Wanda wasn't wrong when she called Strange a hypocrite and called him out on breaking the rules. He has done it many times, disregarding the consequences because he believed what he was doing was right. Now mind you the Time Stone situation did indeed need to happen, but look how many people he effected by doing that, the trauma caused to those snapped and those who remained. This was an excellent chapter in Maximoff's story, and an amazing tribute to a great character. I can't wait to see where her story goes next!
Yeah, Strange is a huge hypocrite. His What If version destroyed his own universe, which was way more damage than what Wanda did.
Each fan video I watch about Wanda/Scarlet Witch, they always include the saddest parts of Wanda’s life but they’re still so good. They really show why Wanda Maximoff is one of my favorite Marvel characters and Avengers. She’s lost so much that she deserves to have her family back. She was so happy in WandaVision because she had Vision and her boys. It was pretty much the only time when she was really happy. She’s so powerful that she gave herself that life. I was rooting for Wanda throughout the movie because she deserves happiness. I was hoping for an ending where she found a universe where she can be with her children but it didn’t end that way. I think it would’ve been a perfect way to start the House of M storyline but who knows, it could still happen.

I'm refusing to believe that the end of Wanda's journey to making peace with the world and having what she wants is self-destruction. I refuse to believe that wanting a family is selfish, becoming the Scarlet Witch is evil, and her ultimate destiny is demise. I wish she can be the Scarlet Witch and a hero at the same time while also being with her family.

This is a really amazing edit for Wanda! Such perfect music and scenes matching, just splendid! 👍🏼👍🏼 I have no doubt that Wanda’s story will continue in the MCU and we will see more of her, there’s so many more stories to explore and relationships for her to form as shown in the comics, I hope to see them. Personally for me, Wanda’s comics story has always been a struggle for who she is and what she wants and who’s side she’s on and it seems the MCU is taking that same route with her inner conflict of her self identity, this actually mirrors that of the comics journey of her friend in the comics, John Walker, who has just entered the MCU with his own struggles between light and dark. I would love for that comics friendship to manifest onscreen, especially given Elizabeth Olsen and Wyatt Russell already have shown in other films that they have great onscreen chemistry. Wanda could use more friends on her side.

I wonder if the alternate Wanda, the real mother, was dreaming of her, while the Wanda we have been following in these movies, was dreaming of her other self at the same time, back and forth. Maybe that is why the real mother forgave her: She saw her life and felt sympathy; her loneiless and grief and motovation of her evil, to be with children that loved her back - just a moment to forget all that pain. As the saying goes, "By the grace of God goes I". Same person, two different outcomes.
