      There are two cases for cpr. If it is needed in cardiac arrest there’s a chance of surviving even after a long time. As there is still good air transport in lungs and the system.
      If it is a heart attack caused by missing air level, there is no real chance of coming back.
      Learned that by loosing my aunt and dad within one month by lung edema. Both had cpr. Both had severe brain damage.
      Doctors told me. Wouldn’t have kept my hope high if I knew earlier. Realized it when taking my das of life support.
      Watching the cpr performed on him while I was holding my moms hand still haunts me in my sadest dreams.

    In case of accident, LEAVE HELMET ON!
    The helmet not only keeps the head protected, but also gives the doctor a visual map of where any impact may have occurred, which helps to diagnose potential head injuries.
    It was nice to see nobody tried to remove his helmet until the doctor was on-site!

    • @misaa4442
      @misaa4442 Рік тому

      I agree, but if you can't see the chest rising, you need to check his breathing by lifting the head up to open his airway - cause we are always told - breathing has ALWAYS priority before spinal injury, always. Cause if you keep the helmet on while the patient is not breathing, youre actually not helping at all, cause he's dying, without oxygen the brain start dying in 5 minutes. In case they breathe then yes, do not remove.

How politely they communicate with the victims. Once they get the information, the air traffic staffs rush to the scene immediately, that is very interesting to watch how the team workers are contributing their duties. Just a question, when an ambulance had aldready responded to the golf course then why did the helicopter have to respond?

      If I'm not mistaken, the ambulance has paramedics but not a doctor. In this case, the doctor arrives with the helicopter. It also depends on the type of accident/injuries and the distance from where the patients are to the hospital. For highly emergency patients who need to be transported quickly, they use helicopter.
