Great video! At ~ 38 min, black could complicate the win for white by playing .. Rxg5. White will have to push its pawn to c4, followed by b4, b5, eventually moves with the king. Unless I've missed something.
At 7:23 we can move the knight from d4 to b5. That will close the b file of the queen blocking its escape And the next move whatever black plays we can move bishop to c1 and the queen is gone.
That’s actually not possible because nb5 a6, bc1 qxr is possible. Also white would have to move knight since otherwise it’d fall and queen might be able to survive.
@@dineshekanayake4895 so from the same position after a6 and instead of bishop to c1 if we play rook to b1, so the queen may not be able to take pawn on a3 and knight on c3 as both are being defended by knight on b5
This was one of the best chess lesson videos I’d ever seen. Although, as I’m not new to chess I knew almost all of them even I learnt new things as it was very informative and I’m glad I watched the whole video.
I just subscribed you👍🏻 You should make a video about attacking and defending openings, I'm just stuck at 700 elo and my opponents are pro 🥲 I will check in your channel after completing this video ❣️
At 7:26 I thought of the c3 knight to b5 instead. It temporarily keeps the black queen from moving safely, but it doesn't have a capture threat. On the next move you could move the rook over to b1 to threaten, but then the queen escapes to a2 unfortunately. It's still trapped from moving safely, though, so with an extra move you can then move white's queen to c1 and then have a capture threat moving the rook back to a1. So it gives black two extra moves to work with elsewhere on the board, but ignoring black doing anything else significant with those moves, that also wins black's queen. Just in case white's knight couldn't safely move to a4 for some reason, I guess.

13:03: i been debateing with my self what to call that tactic.. ofc backrank and overloaded rook is theme here.. but when the knight moves in between the rook and the king, leaving king to be backrank mated.. in puzzles i studied by theme on the stupid chess commercial webpage(cant write wepages here or this post gets deleted, you know witch i mean), this possitions pop ut when doing puzzles on interferance... Meaning they dont see difference on interference where YOU put a piece inbetween oponent pieces to INTERFARE and disrupt the connection between their pieces or som important squares, in this case you make OPONENTS piece to block or interfare with their own pieces or squares. In this case you trick the knight to interfare with the rooks defence of the backrank.. At best i think its possible to call this "self interference" but i think the correct term is "RESTRICTION".. bacause we are restricting the rook in a fatal maner. Restricting the opponents pieces is both a chess tactic and a positional way of playing.. here it is more like a tactic because it leads to a single winning tactical move... in one way its a interferance move as the rook is already interfared with the defence of backrank.. and whith is forced to replace our interfaring pices with their own piece.. so interferance.. but the resulting positon is creating a possition where their own pieces is restricting some of their other pieces. Very nice video and many nice puzzles.. with exelent explanations... thanks a lot :)

2:30 so technically it is NOT a Double attack because There is a checkmated only. It is more a distraction
Thanks ❤
