I did menage to enabne this function, it is ticked in car menu- auto close in rain, but when my windows are half -opened it doesn't work. When wide open (full) it works. Did I do sth wrong during coding? Or maybe there is sth to change in vcds? how do you check whether it works.?
Eduardo Aguirre I found such a coding for closing in the rain on the OBDEleven forum. using OBDeleven Go to [09] Central Electronics Go to Secuity Access and enter 31347 Go to adaptation channels and set the following: - (15) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_ein aus (Rain Closing on / off) - Select Active - (16) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_art (Rain closing Type) set to Permanent - (28) Access Control 2 - Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen (Menu Control Rain close) - Set to Active (enables the menu in the ifotainment screen) Go to [09] Central Electronics Rain and light sensor (could be RLS or RHLS subsystem) Byte 0 Enable: Bit 1 Regenlicht aktiv (rain light active) Bit 2 Regenschliessen aktiv (rain closing active) My Old coding…..00A8DD My New coding….06A8DD And you have to have the wipers in automatic position But it doesn’t work on some cars (different rain sensor?) and the menu function shows and is enabled. I got the same RLHS sensor, did the same coding and obviously it doesn't work. To make it work you need RLFS sensor, not the RLHS one.
The F vs H is German vs English;
Rain Light Humidity Sensor / Regen-Licht-Feuchtesensor
check bit 1, in byte 0.

it has to be tried, since it can always be returned to the original value
But this system in your car run perfectly with your RLHS?

I have a problem. When i click Rain Closing active and I have error 31, request out od range... :/
Then it cannot be coded... got many golf 7 with this error after coding RLHS of RLFS sensor.
