No one in their right mind would take their side, even if they still think they are doing the right thing, like because of their struggle, they think they have a right to be excused somehow. They knew they took more than what they could handle that's why they're in this mess now. Unfortunately, in a real world...the "that just not f*king good enough!" applies on their case.

The plaintiff was so polite and calm. She spoke well and presented her case. Defendants are rude and have no business etiquette.
I believe the defendants were racist/prejudice. They were extremely rude and condescending to both the Plaintiff and the Judge. Entirely too disruptive and disrespectful.

The judge lost her patience bit by bit
This kind of behaviour by the defendants would have been called out by Juan (her Bailiff from Season 2 and onwards). He would have told the defendant to cover his mouth after he started hacking up with his mouth open for starters. When they tried to "correct" the plaintiff, Juan would then warn these defendants that if they did that again he would personally kick them out of the courtroom and then the next time they interrupted (or the wife), Juan would have lost his patience and kicked the wife out first, and then the defendant upon the next interruption. Juan is nowhere near as patient as Barbara or Judge Faith in that matter with such behavior.

I normally don't like throwing around the word racist but these people were very condescending with the plantiff and judge. She handled them greatly but you can tell they were trying her patience.

It's not often Judge Faith grants someone the entire amount someone would be suing for because she is ALWAYS fair, comes with good judgment and studies her cases very well. I'm happy she granted the Plaintiff the full amount even before she got an answer regarding the extra $2,000. Well deserved!

Never piss off the Judge. Judges are supposed to be impartial, but if you disrespect them and the court, they're going to favor the other side on principle. That's why Judge Faith didn't need to hear why the plaintiff was suing for an additional $2,000. The way that couple behaved in court and the respect the plaintiff showed, she deserves that money.
He wouldn't stop talking had he shut up she wouldn't have gotten it. At that point judge wanted away from him.
I think the defendant was unable to speak for himself because his wife always did it for him and she was handling things and he didnt know or did know and was afraid to cross her. The wife was trying to get money real fast so they wouldnt get kicked out of their home. So she sent her husband out to start jobs so they could get money from each person in advance. She got pissed because her plan didnt work and she ended up in court. The plaintiff was very classy in the way she acted.
The wife was disgusting and the husband has no backbone on top of being a liar. The plaintiff spoke w/ class and grace.
