As the owner of a 2016 focus Hatchback in America , it pains me to see what I can’t have in America . I understand why Ford got rid of the focus here in America .

It's because Americans don't care about style and the driving experience. Everyone is buying SUVs and crossovers just because someone else have one not because they really need that type of vehicle.

@@gartblaum Very true what is interesting 2 years ago when the decided to stop selling the Fusion in the states they were still selling nearly 200k of those cars even with that dated body style. For me I don't even consider Ford or GM as a viable option since they discontinued making cars.

My ST line is coming Sunday 😊
Personally I prefer the previous MK4 front in that it looks more sporty and streamlined. Also not sure about moving the heater controls to the screen as they were great as they were and very easy to actuate on the move. I ordered a new ST almost 4 months ago and still don’t have a build date so if you want one plan well ahead.
I feel like the best looking front is the st-line Mk4, but all the other Mk4 trim fronts look awful and put me off the car.
I ordered mine back in October, black ST-LINE vignale. Can’t wait to get it, been told should be here in April. 😊
April is creeping up fast! An ST-Line Vignale in black is going to look incredible, you must be so excited
@@foraymotorgroup8721 Now being told they have no date, proper gutted as i've been waiting since October.
Problem is, they have been down teched. My fiesta vignale has road sign recognition and rear view camera as standard. I have ordered the STLine Vignale and had to add an optional extra to get a reversing camera.
The ford focus is by far and away the most beautiful hatch and has been for 3 years now, since the sleek new rear lights were made standard. Now that the interior has finally been upgraded, The Golf has been shoved aside.

Ordered in nov but I got a stock off the shelf colour and no extras. I believe mine may of already been built when ordered. May be wrong.

I am just curious, did you get to test ride it or did you just order online without ever trying it out? I guess I am not aware how people order it before you can see in the showrooms.
@@yurid09 I ordered it without trying it as I’d previously driven the Mk4 and was happy with it, as this is only a facelift model as such I was comfortable with placing the order !!

Sorry to be negative here, but after our last ownership experience a 2016 Focus Ecoboost 1.0, the gearbox started to fail at 40,000 miles, and for two years running we had constant emmisions related problems that couldnt be rectified, so we bought a brand new Honda instead.
Great looking car. I live in America and drive a 2013 Focus. Love how it rides....Like a bigger car.

Very nice, good to see a RHD Focus being reviewed in the UK, I have a Titanium on order but looks like quite a few months wait for delivery, will be worth it.

Miguel. The vignale package does not get you matrix led headlights, you still just get the led standard headlights.

It's not the dealership's fault, it's the nepotism etc. at Ford of Europe, the logistics department at Dunton, Ford UK and Ireland, and the contractors.
@@teamtempest844 I never said it was the dealers fault…..🤔🙄. Just glad to see they are in the UK… gives me some hope that I may actually get my order one day…. Maybe even this year! 😳😂
@@TheUgleyCrafters You did not, I am merely pointing out the finger is often blamed on the licenced dealerships when FoB and FoE and contractors are at fault. A build up of excitement perhaps, or letting them trickle in the market keeps prices, interest and orders going.

I still don't understand why Ford dropped cars in the US.
The Fiesta was hovering around 60k units, Focus and Fusion were around 100k I belive as well.
In some markets the entire brand sells less than 60k cars.
How are these numbers financially unprofitable?
I'm not really a Ford guy but it's a shame we don't get these cars. I the design langauge of those cars was honestly really good. I'll be honest the interiors look cheap but functional.
I know people go for crossovers but having cars in your lineup seems to really help brand image and having them in will help adjust to any market changes down the line.
But I'm sure they ran the numbers and somehow it dosnt work.
When I saw this first, I loved it. Then someone said it looks like a hyundi, now I can't unsee it 😪
Not sure about that centre screen way to big should have integrated it into the dash more, like the look of it but let down on the inside for me.

Hmm Deja vue. The badge was on the grill from 1998 until 2010. It's where the key went in to unlock the bonnet. Like the colour. Not sure about the shape. But each to their own.

Hi Ben, glad you liked the review! This colour is called Magnetic. It looks great doesn't it! Also, the model I reviewed here did have a rotarty dial :)
Rotary shifter only available on diesel. I've ordered a new Titanium Vignale and was disappointed that the rotary gear selector isn't offered on the petrol. I have it in my current focus and love it.

The main question is: Why on earth Ford has abandoned us here on the America Continent? I'm a Ford Fiesta owner and I really miss a new model.
Just bought a used Focus ST-Line (8,500 Km). Is it smaller than the Titanium version? No handbook to speak of and I'm not sure how to operate the sunroof. Also, I've seen various claimed horse power figures, from 99 bhp to 150 bhp, so not sure which applies to the one I bought. The boot is not a closed compartment. It has no "lid". In the two reviews I've watched, there was no mention of the electric component - either its contribution to performance or whether it needs any topping up or other attention. One review video complained about having to use the touch screen to regulate temperature, but my version has knurled knobs for temp control and fan. And, of course, there is no CD player!

I’ve had a new facelift focus on order with my local Ford dealer since October and this had made me even more excited to receive it. Glad to see models starting to arrive in UK dealerships, hopefully not too long for me to wait now.

What is the standard ST Line X interior like !
Where are you getting your boot capacity figures from? All other reviews say the 5 door hatch has 375 litres, the same as the previous Mk4.
I chose a 68 plate over the newer plates. Best out the bunch.

Far as im concerned the mk1 focus will always be the most striking ahead of its time design, even now they look great far better than some new cars, many new cars have a very bulky bulbus look to them
Re post below, I should have added that the Focus Brochure of 18/11 21 shows the Family Pack (wireless charging, 60:40 folding rear seat with ski hatch and 2 USB ports) as an extra cost option on Titanium, Active and ST line hatches only and not available on other models. Different availability applies for estate cars (available on all models except ST).
As I live off road, how would that affect the hybrid, if it’s not charged

I ordered the 1.0 (155bhp) ST Line Vignale in white 3 weeks ago.
Used AutoEbid and price is a very reasonable at £22500.... Bargain, thats over £6000 off list.
Delivery is quoted at 6 to 7 months.

You mention the sportiness many times, but how Sporty is that 1 litre engine. You don't mention performance and economy. It looks nice enough, but how does it actually go?

Thanks for your reply. Currently we have a 2017 1.5 150bhp St line focus. It's OK, but by no means what could be termed a sporty car. How does this engine line up compare? I guess the nearest match would be the 155ps hybrid. How is mid range push for motorway overtaking?
@@markevs3360 Hi Mark, It's more sports styling that I mention, the ST-Line range feature very similar styling to the ST, with a large spoiler, a flat bottomed steering wheel and contrast stitching etc. The suspension is also more stiff in the ST-Line models, giving the drive a more sporty feel. Like you said there is a 1.0L 155PS 190Nm Torque Mild Hybrid option on the new ST-Line, which to a lot of people is quite punchy, but will still offer impressive fuel economy. The ST-Line range is really about it's styling though and the overall look and feel of the car. You should definitely pop into your local dealership and test drive one when demonstrators begin to arrive, you might be pleasantly surpised!

Looks like the heating controls are now accessed via the touchscreen.... not in favour of that.... car looks great though.... having owned the mk 1, 2.5 and 3.5, I will surely have to consider the mk 4.5

Hi Rober, they are indeed and they come as standard on all Focus trims! You can also opt for the new full LED Matrix headlights, which are highly intelligent.

Was about to order Titanium Estate until I found a new image of the facelift. It is a massive downgrade for me, the design of new front looks totally wrong grille too large, but most of it blocked off, front is too blunt looking. A real shame as the prior focus looked really good.

I ordered a ford kuga titanium last September it hasn’t arrived yet but I got told it was getting build last Friday does that mean I’ll get a screen that big and up to date like that or will I get the 2021 version thanks

This is the spiritual sucessor to my Magnetic Grey Focus Mk4 ST-Line, except for the not so attractive Fiesta ST-Line wheels which I don't think suit this car - the original 17" wheels look much nicer. The only thing I'd add in this particular model would be the Vignale package, 18" wheels and Matrix LED headlights. As for the rest, it's still a brilliant car and I love it.

No, they still suffer with condensation issues in cold weather and ignored when the word warranty is mentioned. Terrible choice getting my mk4 ST.

Hi, on the Titanium Vignale auto, do you know if the drive selector is a dial or has it gone back to stick?
From what I can gather, if it’s a diesel then it’s a dial, I asked the question to Ford and they told me the 155 ps automatic I’d ordered would be a stick
No option but to have privacy glass. I hate privacy glass. On my Ford Focus ST3 Facelift Model you had the option. Why not on the Mark 4?
