I like/use Chemical Guys products too but you are 100% correct, they have over saturated the market with their products.

Definitely right ! But I continue to use a strict small selection of some CG products. Some I personnaly found really inefficient : fabric shield (true joke), Diablo gel, and some others I was really disappointed

SO true. They have tooooooo much stuff out to the point that it makes navigating their website very confusing. Seriously, they need to kill off HALF of their products and just focus on the basics. To give you an idea how bad and confusing the website is, THIS product is not even a wax and I thought it was. It's just a glaze to spiff up gray or black cars before they go into the showroom. It offers no protection. Remember to put actual wax over it after you apply it if you actually want protection. I recommend Meguiar's #16 if you can find it or for those who want fast protection, try Prima Hydro which is a spray on wax. Just spray on a wet OR dry car, let it dry and buff it. Takes less than 15 minutes to do a 4 door compact like a VW MKVII Golf

From my experience, chemical guys is intended for the week end warrior or the car enthusiast...some products are good but most are the same thing with a different scent and color. After spending thousands of dollars I realized that are better products at less of a price such as meguiars and 3d without the ridiculous labeling

I refuse to buy any chemical guys because of their annoying marketing and product line. Seems like a bunch of hipsters just trying to squeeze every penny out of the detailing market. Are they providing any value? If they went bankrupt tomorrow would we loose anything?

So 3 years later we see msds on website for california requirements. Black light is polymers, carnauba, gloss enhancers plus optical brightness..... And some DME for light abrasive / polishing. Based on that it's basically like Meguiars ultimate wax, gold glass and polish all in one.

Just my own opinion. I did a correction on my sister black Honda Accord. I used HD one with cutting pad and then went over it again with a polishing pads. After this it looked better but it just didn't have that "wow". I used it following the directions and it definitely looked a lot better after the Black Light. @@jaybee2812 You are one of the very few who have connected those dots. I had to stop watching any of his vids as I see so many endless parallels with what he delivers. He clearly stalks both my UA-cam vids as well as my websites for ideas and intel. But it seems that is largely what "professional detailing" is starting to mean these days: "let me start a UA-cam channel and make money regurgitating other guys' content so I don't actually have to detail any cars". The guy I am currently mentoring also told me Luke is doing them in Spanish now (which is a great idea and one I would have already been doing if I spoke Spanish). But with all that said; he is very gifted in front of the camera (which I am very envious of...along with more enthusiasm any one person has a right to) and will certainly "sell religion" very well if he ever makes it to his dream of becoming a "professional pastor"...

The description makes a lot of sense to me? Vast homogeneous mixture? Like, many different components that are homogenized into an evenly distributed solution? Sounds like it's a blend of sealants and something else. To give a better final shine. Black light probably refers to the idea of a black light inspection, looking for every possible defect. You're just not the kind of consumer they are able to Target. That's fine. I would have rather you showed me what you were able to do with it in one video. you made a 7:51minute video to read the label to us.

It contains 75% of their HD polish, and 25% of their wax product called HD Poxy. Provides really good cut and finishes beautifully. Great to get quick results with actual paint correction vs blacklight which barely fills the panel even when you work slow and doesn’t provide any real correction.

Recently though, they disappeared from my IG feed. No clue. Turns out they blocked me I guess hahahahaha. Why? Maybe because I replied to someone on one of their posts and suggested an alternative product/company? I never wrecked on em, but I am learning real fast why not to like them. I'll stick with VRP, Diablo, Citrus Wash & Gloss, several of their Air Freshener sprays, and so on...As for their waxes, sealants and what not, I'll pass. CSI Ceram-X and Optimum Gloss Coat work perfectly for me...They can keep me blocked I guess, I'll just offload all their stuff and be happy with a lot less product hahahahahaha

He's not lying about chemical guys overwhelming the customer with products,I didn't know what to get,and when I get it I see something new and think it's better then the previous items in purchased.

My best bet on Chemical guys products is to go to their site and use their “find best product for me.” They ask you questions and it generates the top two products they would recommend for you based on that category (shampoo, quick detail, wax, etc)
They make some nice stuff but have too many products that cause confusion.

not entirely sure where he got the directions for it, the directions on chemical guys' website (maybe it's different on the product) don't say anything about machine application, seems like a regular snow foam just with thicker suds from the website description

Chemical Guys just did what Adams or Griot or Maguires did. They just marketed to all generations and especially the younger generation with flashy colors. About 50% of their products are good and honestly thats good considering how many products they have. Same as Adams. But Thanks for review because I have not used this yet and was just curious.

Can anyone trust this review from a guy who eats Nacho Cheese Doritos? Everyone knows Spicy Nacho is the shit.

Have you tried the Wolfgang finishing glaze 3.0? Is this good? Is better than blacklight?

99% of labels are 100% BS. Find a wax/polish/product that meets your budget and move on.

So I got into this product and now have a bottle to use up. I will used it as a sealer/glaze but what would be a good polish before ?

I need one of those t-shirts. I checked your website and you don't have a link for merchandise. Can you send me one to Alabama? :)

I’m sure the black light product is in other of their products in different scents and color. I remember when I first started I grabbed a bunch of their products and one guy was like “dude do you know you have practically the same products just different labels?”

Product tsunami on (to mix metaphors) steroids. Can't wait for demo and part 2. Possibly an HD-Speed type attempt by CG. Stay with this Darren.

I was frustrated and I went with the three basic 3m finesse products simple blue cap for final polish black for swirl remover and white for compound.
