This is how unreal that Daytona still looks good in comparison with zx6r
It was always a looker. I think it still runs in high demand in the resale market back home in India.
Yup. Headturner. Timeless design.
White one looks even more premium
What about R7 , look way better
@@ShivamKumar-rn4mp These two bikes eat R7 for breakfast . Although R7 looks good but it's not even in the competition
The 9 yrs old Triumph still looks very good & quality levels show! ❤
Yup. Still manages to turn heads.
I agree but I would also add that the owner (@rohit_paradkar...?) has taken (very) good care (except for some rust on the exhaust) and maintained it very well.
Ever since I bought rc390 in 2017, I had Daytona 675R as my upgrade motorcycle. Its petite and packs some ahead of its time features. Doesn't have much gimmicky tech on board but has all the necessary specs. Good for city and sunday rides. Usable power. Triumph made a huge blunder with the new Daytona.
The new Daytona is just the same trident engine. Not a true performance engine.
But the "new blunder" will outsell anything in the segment, given priced reasonably.
@@Vickyrocks247These days, many people who aren't very fit tend to be quite lazy and just want to relax. To cater to this, brands are developing relaxed, upright bikes that feel as comfortable as a gaming chair.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 like Daytona 660 etc (even I own a Daytona and for me its like a basic physical routine after every ride😍 )
What a shame they could not use the potent 765 mill from Triple RS to update new Daytona! 😢
Yup! What we’ll get is the 660 🤦🏾♂️
@@rohit_paradkar The 660 does not deserve the name - Daytona. Its a segment below the Daytona, AT BEST.
Good names of legendary vehicles are being watered down far too much just for some sales numbers.
All these stupid emission norms have cost us dearly with great responsive and exciting engines.
Daytona looks so gorgeous even today!
It sure does! Say hello to #ToothlessTheDaytona 😊
Daytona looks so beautiful even today.
wrong information - The indian Daytona version as seen in this video produces only 118 bhp while this new 2024 zx6R has only 122 bhp , 6 bhp lower than older zx6rs (2019-2023)
Brother In India they have to reduce power to launch into the Indian market because of the government norms
But that daytona is euro spec(euro map) where they provided 129 bhp after that they reduced it for indian bikes
This is nothing...BMW once launched the Husky Nuda 900 in India, and KTM had RC8...what a time...😢😢😢
BOTH HONDA 650 And KAWASAKI 650 ... looks HEAVY and BULKY body designs....
BUT TRIUMPH Daytona looks Sleek, Sharp amd Lightweight ... 😊👍🏻
My utmost respect to Rohit, he knows Triumph dropped the ball with the new daytona and he’s not trying to sugarcoat it at all. Keeping it real ❤️💯
Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏼
I love my 2014 675 like I've never loved a motorcycle before. I don't think I'll ever sell it.
Much needed video!!! Thank you OVERDRIVE ❤
Need to buy one of those Daytona fairing kits and stick to the new Street Triple.
The Daytona was, is and will remain my goal and the final bike in my stable one day. Hello there, I'm your residential Daytona simp :)
Team ICE
I want such bikes to stay forever!!
Anyone know which road this is? seems like a good place for a weekend ride
4:04 phew that was a hairy moment there 😅😅
Yup heart in the mouth.
Yes wanted to know what went wrong there. Maybe tried to put to lower gear??
@@georgethomas9697 no, a set of bends we usually shoot at were very dusty that day and the bikes were feeling a bit skittish. Which is why you will see that the overall pace or lean of the cornering shots isn’t as nice as we usually have. Because there were quite few hairy incidents like these that day.
Daytona ❤
Now this was unexpected 🔥
😉🙏🏼
this is the video everyone body was waiting for
Are out of reach for Daytona 675 R??
That slip😢 4:03
Yup. Hairy moment indeed
Why there's no back seat?
Wish triumph brings back the mighty Daytona ( not in limited edition ) 765R
Yup. I’m hoping too.
Exactly
That's a well maintained Daytona!
It doesn't matter which you buy, you can't use them to their potential in India......zx4r is the max someone can use....that to is too much for Indian roads...
Ofcourse,,, moreover those machines are not meant for any road,, those are intended track tools
Aww poor people😆
Agreed...zx4r is definitely a practical choice, be it in city or highway
Zx4r unfortunately is so overpriced.
@RecluseRider itz cbu, hence the price, but if u see the fit and finish ,itz much better than 6r and is build to last...yes itz overpriced, but thatz all I need😊...and will remain a rarest piece too
2:52 should be Moto 2 not moto 3
Yes. My bad!
Kawasaki had so many restrictions in its ECU
The answer is always GSXR750.
The 2024 zx6r is detuned when stock due to emissions regulations, which a tune should fix.
2:52 You mean Moto2 not Moto3, right..??
It’s Moto 2
Yes Moto2. My bad 🙏🏼
@@rohit_paradkar 😂😂 Nope actually for a second i thought and even Googled whether Triumph is upto making a single cylinder supersport inspired from Moto3 💀💀 damn you were wrong, you should have been right.
Coz that would have brought more competition in the single cylinder supersport category 🤷🏻
You were speechless on 660
😂
Dont understand why daytona 675 was discontinued!!! Fantastic bike....
Emission norms
euro 5 is a performance killer. if you check videos from Moore Mafia, the zx6r falls flat on it's face at higher rpms because the throttle is being closed electronically, limiting it to about 50% if I remember it correctly. A little bit of tuning will release it's potential, but that would also mean it won't pass euro 5 emissions standards but at that point, who cares? 😂
Yup. The emission norms are strangling these machines. On the 6R you can feel the power tapering off at full steam
yes indeed. the deity R1 also has also felt it
Daytona came at a time banging all barrels when the Superbike market was plateauing all around the world. In short, Triumph was late to the party with its child Daytona.
And still did pretty well for itself.
Always a kawa fan 😍
Team Green! 💚
Kawasaki India should be aware of the mistake they are making in India and strive for a more effective product launch, particularly with competitive pricing. Otherwise, they risk falling behind competitors like KTM and Aprilia.
#Triumph has put the #Daytona name to #rot
Second you on that!
traction control doesnt do much for 600s in dry especially
The kawasaki throttle is limited in the top edge of its rev range. Needs a flash to unlock the throttle.
Team Red
Me too
Man daytona still fabulous 🗿
Ah the daytona is just too good. Unbeatable. Better chassis, still, than the zx6r
zx6r ❤
the weight is still too much for ZX6R
Pls do homework before any informative video.. all your information is wrong AF . For example bhp n all.... Big dispntmnt
*Why the 2024 Kawasaki feels hollower than a 2015 Daytona - the tighter Environment Norms + the soft liberal downgrading of EU & Japanese societies* 😏😏
Yup. Those norms just keep getting tighter and tighter.
Daytona 660 in the corner
And that’s where is should sit 🙄
