Peace! Absolutely bro. They were limited and were going to max out on all they could offer. When you compare 16 mill to 29 mill, not much of a chance we stood.

Peace!! True indeed. It hurts more because Mitch hasn't been able to stay on the floor so Hartenstein was vital.

Let’s hope that does not happen to Brunson , Randle or Bridges who are due upcoming contract extensions. Knicks need to prepare for future contracts so this does not happen. What if the Knicks extended IHart in regular season and they would of avoided bidding wars

Peace. The Knicks had Early Bird Rights and even in mid season they could only offer 16 mill. He was going to get no less than 21.

@@wisewordsmedia4076 Knicks nation don’t forget this signing from OKC! They got NOTHING in return from OKC except a heist for putting it out of reach for Knicks. NYC and Knicks need revenge for this. When SGA and all their players ( J Williams, etc) becomes available Knicks need to put it out of reach for Don Presti/OKC to do this to Knicks nation. IHart deserves his money but not at the expense where it left Knicks without a back up center stolen/heist from Knicks😂
Knicks forced to make trades with other teams and deal with Ainge is not ideal, thus Knicks scrambling to address their back up Big issue

I think he would have been gone even if the Knicks weren’t hand tied to re-sign him. Why? Because I think OKC greatly overpaid to sign him - and I don’t think the Knicks would have offered him the kind of money that OKC did, irrespective of the bird rights scenario.

Peace! If the Knicks could've been able to give him atleast 24- 25, I think he would've stood even if it was a few million cheaper. But 13 mill was too much to pass up.

Don’t care about early Bird, Late Bird. Knicks haven’t had a sensible trade since Earl Monroe. And, they haven’t won a Championship since.

BULL! It’s the Knicks Fault. Hartenstein should still be a Knick.

@eletonjohns8361 look up the Early Bird Rights. That's the reason the Knicks could only offer 16 mill. OKC offered 29 mill because they were not limited by the Bird Rights.

Peace. These contract clause are confusing for some which is what inspired me to make the video. I hate that we lost him but it's the Leagues fault.
