I like the methods but the other side looks good too , I've tried a few different wheel and tire combo's on my bronco , and just put some jdCrawlers and wheel weights that really made it crawl better
@@RunThatRC totally. It being a Traxxas I honestly expected that and portals, definitely disappointed in no 2 speed ( I mean, hell, I put them in my mn's and wpl's 👍 Dude and thanks for the vids 😉
Hope it does happen to my trx4 M. Haven’t used it yet But not going to really use it for crawling. I’m got it more for tailing. But I did use PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE.
You do know Traxxas was supposed to greas the gears and they did not on a few hundred of these rigs. They also do not come with bearings. Grease all the gears and put bearings in. 😢
Never really grease my plastic gears but when I swapped them out for metal gears on my Bronco I definitely used grease. My defender still running no grease on plastic gears with grease on the bushings. I do a lot of water runs and don't want the extra maintenance from bearings.

Thanks! That helps!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for the guidance bro!
Glad you found it helpful brotha!
methods look awesome!
Bronco wheels
nice crawler. hey can you please till me which wpl kit will take longer time to build. wpl b36km or c44km
b36
It's smooth with the low range gears,, it just lacks wheel speed
they need a 2 speed. That would be sweet.

@@GSG-lc5zm yeah definitely. Having no portals is ok but the 2 speed should have made it in the design.
@@GSG-lc5zm look fms fcx24 k5 blazer 😉😉

Jumped on the presale the first day lol 😂

Are your tire rubbing on the fender when climbing with the defender? Mine does after installing 1.0 bead wheels from Injora.
not really but it does touch sometimes. I don't mind it that much. My trx4m Bronco with big wheels definitely rubs.
Low range gears seem to be alot more noisy than stock
Definitely is. It's because the motor and gears are turning at a faster speed.
