I was getting ready to defend the man until I finished reading the post haha. Collecting Transformers, or anything, is nostalgic fun. Loved seeing these great figures.
@@Rakerong Yes it is.. life is short and full of enough grief. You win in life by having the joy outweigh the sadness. And collecting something that brings you joy is a winning strategy.
@@Rakerong indeed, and what I noticed is that they're getting put down by miserable, salty people. Happy people as a general rule love to see other people happy. It's just how we roll man.
Awesome collection that you have sir I would like all of them for my small collection too lol, I'm Peter from Hamilton Ontario Canada and was and still do collect transformers toys but being a stroke and cardiac arrest survivor and on disability and don't have the extra money to buy them as much as I used too
Great collection, I only own a few originals from the 80's but most of my G1 were reissued from 2000's I dont like how they change some of the colors and certain aspects from the original molds
Metroplex, ultramagnus, rodimus , hot rod, kup, and along with combiner characters such as the combaticons, and the cassettes rumble, frenzy, had metal or plastic versions.
So simple but hard to collect if u throw away the boxes back then oh well life will go on because it still out there in 2022 just like the toys and materials
Awesome collection but as much as I would love to go back and buy a Generation 1 Optimus Prime I cannot pay the prices these people are asking just came out when I was a kid It was $13 Now the cheapest one you can find is just over $480
That dino isnt Snarl, Snarl was the Stegosaurus. Its the one with the controversial name; Slag. Original Soundwave? i think youve been tricked there dude, G1 Soundwave had yellow eyes including the time when he was under the name Cassette Man during his Diaclone years. See many of your figures have torn stickers, are you a purist? If not i can highly recommend reprolabels to replace those bots with the worst of sticker wear, but not on the exclusives youll loose the retro vibe on them in case you 1 day have to sell a few. Guess Rubber wheels are on some early releases and those with plastic wheels are later releases, beacause rubber wheels tend to not age too well, but thats my guess not a fact. Who is Predacon? I know there are Decepticon Predacons that were actually supposed to be introduced in the movie but got scrapped for time and reworked from Autobot monsters to Decepticon animals, and those members combined into Predaking. That happens to be in that number your Predacon is standing on, made by Shockwave with the ability to switch logos so the Autobots would get the blame when the Predacons tried to kill Megatron. Gun butt for Scattershot? your waay to kind, 1 wrong move during transformation and Scattershot is suddenly a well hunged robot with a surprise in his "manhood".
It simple to get original box art of all series of 80-90 get the boxes cut them out and displayed I will never cut the boxes out for the artwork because trademark
