It is going to be the same trackball as in the XL and the previous 3/4 scale model of Golden Tee (They both used the same trackball). I am curious if the USB port will be active on this one like the XL. On the XL you could add a USB Trackball. I tested with Ultimarc U-Trak trackball and works well enough on the XL, if you wanted to replace. Have to do some minor modification to get it flush with the control panel, but worked.

Did they upgrade the screen or is it still shot viewing from the side angel

It's listed as coming with a 17" BOE monitor. So, it's smaller than the XL version which was 19", but the BOE is a better quality monitor with better viewing angles.
