    I've had a 02 ES 300 for over 3yrs now.
    Solid built quality overall but that's expected from a Toyota/Lexus Brand.
    The only thing I always disliked was the front end appearance, ride height and the body overlaps the wheels giving the appearance that the wheels are too far in. It's like the Shell was wider then the Chassis.

    As of writing this in April 30, 2023. My 03 Lexus ES300 with over 231,500+ miles. It's running like a champ however, the coolant sensor is broken and the original coolant fan thats sits behind the radiator broke at around 230,000+ miles but that fan lasted 20 years! The car is reliable, my automatic transmission occasionally slips. I have zero clue the last time the transmission fluid has been changed or drained, so I'm just going to leave it as is to not make my transmission even worse if I were to change the fluid. The timing belt has been replaced at 105958 miles, so I definitely need to replace that and the other parts when I can. I do expect this lexus to last well over 300,000 miles with the original transmission already causing occasionally slips which could be related to other issues I might have not checked yet.

      Pooorly service comes will STILL keep on going tho. They never quit. My ES330 was pampered and it’s at 257k miles and everything works and everything is flawless. However, I bought a GS430 recently as a project car for $1000. It’s pretty neglected by its previous owners, but my gosh it still runs and drives nice. Engine is healthy and super powerful v8. 235k miles.

  • @805NAVE
    @805NAVE 3 роки тому +7

    This one is basically a base model. Only option that rear sunshade which I love on mine. Probably my favorite feature lol. Mine is completely fully loaded. It’s a 2006 ES330 with 257,300 miles! Runs like buttery smooth still flawless. It’s got memory seating for BOTH passenger and driver, cooled and heated front seats, voice controlled touch screen navigation and Infotainment system, xenon auto leveling headlights, power sunshade, sport tuning suspension (lol), mark levinson premium sound system, bigger 17” 6 spoke chrome wheels, power folding mirrors, power adjustable pedals. Also the glove box is damped also. Got it for $5k with 180k miles. One owner and it was MINT , still is cuz I pamper the crap out of it lol. Almost 260,000 miles and it still drives PERFECTLY, first choice for when I go ok roadtrips. I also have an LS460 and GS430 but the ride quality on the ES is so cloud like. Perfection

    • @peterouuu
      @peterouuu 3 роки тому +2

      if it’s anything like my tsx, the glovebox trunk button can disable the trunk button by the steering wheel. then you just lock the glovebox with a key and then the thieves can’t open the trunk with that button anymore.
