How do you get the best deal on Silver Eagles? I share my five purchases from three different online bullion dealers, and let you know what worked, and what didn't work.
Are you a steady buyer of physical gold and silver? Did you increase your holdings in 2023 and what are your bullion plans in 2024?
Compared to other world mints, each year the US Mint waits until the new year to release the coin with the most current year date on them. While other mints try and get the jump on the "next year's model" like a car company, you can't get a 2024 US coin until 2024. But the 2023 coins are still in stock!

I love my credit card rewards, I redeemed them recently for gift cards I give away during the holidays. Of course…all the years I carried a balance on credit cards when I was in my 20s/early 30s I paid for those myself years ago 😂
As far as ASEs go, just imagine how many ounces of generics you could have instead of that tube 🤷♂️

I think 2020 was the last time I bought eagles. Ooops, that was a bit of a slip up on the single eagle. Yep, always read the fine print. We've all been there my friend.

Crazy premiums on those ASEs
High premiums at the beginning of the year, but they got better!

I know I can get rewards for cards and am leaving some money on the table but we have not used a credit card in probably 10 years. Not interested in even applying for one. I paid $27.12 each for a tube of ASE’ a few months ago. Not great but not bad. Thanks for the info.

If you are disciplined in paying your cards right after your purchases you should get a card with the benefits.
I myself use one with cash back at a fixed percentage of everything I purchase and I have gotten over 20 ounces of silver in less than a year doing just that.
Does apmex charge the cash price or the credit card price when using the bullion card?
They charge the credit card price but you earn 4% back (or more when deals such as Black Friday). So it’s a wash in cash vs credit.
But credit charges elsewhere (like paying your cell phone bill) will earn you points for future gold or silver discounts.
Sorry but not a deal when using the apmex credit card since they and every other bullion dealer charges you 4% when using a card. You get that back in apmex points but you stuck with apmex and their prices are not good. If they will price match other dealers sales then maybe but that requires extra time and effort to call in
