I wish Ms. Arulmozhi reads this message. Disappointed. I regard Ms. Arulmozhi as a thought leader, eventhough I might not agree with what she says. With respect to NEP, looks like she is also in the group which are hellbend of opposing something only becuase it was introduced by Mr.Modi. She knows that a good critique always points out both the good and the bad (subjective). If she says having common exam for 3rd standard is not acceptable, demand that it need to be changed. If she feels Tholkappier should be listed, make the request. Why can't she list the items that need to be change?
And praise items like making college as 4 years and the ability to pick and choose and change subjects as you grow/understand and develop your field of expertise, ability for mulitiple exit and entries, varying level of certification at end of each year in college (the current system is all or nothing which is very bad for economically backward communities, who might not be able survive if they were forced to attend the college continuously for 3 years with no income). Why can't she praise the introduction of programming skills at early age.
My assumption, it will be people like Ms. Arulmozhi who will pave the way for BJP in Tamil Nadu because of their blind opposition to Modi/BJP and anything connected to them. Let us not forget Periyar and Annadurai existed when the ground reality was differenet. Now the ground reality is different and society is opening up.
Additional question. Did Ms. Arulmozhi provided her criticism/opinion when Mr.Stalin proposed that Urudu will be made compulsory for all muslims (ofcourse at the expense of Tamil).
The time is not too far when Muslims will reject DMK/DM and might end up voting BJP.
And she forgot one thing is that exam is of continuous assessment....external will have max of 50%....and also term based......whether she has any idea in modern advanced private schools are moving to this system....if we dnt move, then only private school students will have wholistic learning and govt school students will be left out...they are talking about tamizh...but when u are learning till 5th mother tongue , why need to be afraid that it will be eliminated...let this system first come...its upto 2022 to 2040...18 years lot of advancements may come...that i dnt knw how many of present day politicians will be alive that includes DMK, ADMK, Cong.& BJP..

I am a faculty in higher education. I had read all the 700 pages of NEP 2020. What you are speaking is utter stupidity. You try to fool the people. The NEP is a combination of the education systems of US, Germany and some other European countries. You need not fool the people by telling kulakkalvi, Hindi language, etc, like EVR. Nowhere it is written that Hindi is compulsory. Nowhere it is compulsory to take up a skill of your family. Nowhere social justice is forbidden. Most of the academics in higher education appreciate it and welcome it. That is why there is no resistance to the NEP eventhough the Dravidian rowdies are shouting loud. I request the viewers that the NEP is not the brainchild of Modi or BJP.. The idea behind it was Knowledge commission drafted by Sam Pidroda in the Congress rule. Hence, just for blaming Modi or BJP, these dravidian rougues are blaming it. But I am sure, most of the states have accepted it and sure it will come to effect. The dravidian thugs cannot do anything except shouting . Let them scowl.

I am not against any idealogy but when you praise other country like USA, UK. This education policy is similar to them. One more thing if you are against such things then same policy is used by most of the ICBSE SCHOOLS all over india even in tamilnadu. Ask them to close first then give out this big speech when you let them open such schools and keep your mouth shut.

Just go through section 4.17 to 4.20 in the above pdf sure you will understand the tricky meaning in it...
Especially Tamilnadu is the first state to raise voice against Hindi imposing so cleverly created the pdf by omitting the word Hindi in it.

Sanskrit ---23 Times.
Tamil --2 Times.
Telugu --2Times.
Kannada --2Times.
Malayalam --2Times.
Odia --2Times.
...Etc
1)Just see how much important they have given for Sanskrit language here in pdf file.
2)They why was India separated as different states based on the language spoken.??
So don't impose 3rd as Hindi or Sanskrit language in public or private schools..
Why I am telling is there is no teachers for other languages to teach in all schools across India.I am talking about high schools in village areas.
3) Why mother tongue language is not mandatory in Middle and Secondary Class in public and private. Do you know how many of the kids only speak mother tongue and they don't know to read and write in real world??
Here they will tell only hindi teacher is available in school right now so learn it. So for students no option of choice in it.
All foreign languages are available from secondary level Class: 9 to 12, Age:14 to 18.
All classical languages are available from Middle to Secondary level Class:6 to 8, Class:9 to 12.
Section 4.17 in pdf says: Sanskrit will this be offered at all levels of school and higher education as an important, enriching option for students, including as an option in the three-language formula.
So don't impose anything if required we will learn it. Most of the Indian community's and all types of professionals are doing great in their job without 3rd language only in across the globe(many foreign countries). So dont create a myth here sir.
