I've no idea what this woman is like away from my phone screen. Throughout my long life, music has been an integral part. I have listened to many fine performing artists with highly developed voices and presentation. None have been able to create such physical reaction from me. The swelling deep within my breast, the catch in the throat, the moistened eyes, the very suspension of time itself, the way Melody Gardot affects me. If these feelings are indicators of love, she makes them come easily.
