Thanks in advance!
Blog review of Thinkdiag2: www.iamcarhacker.com/budget-bidirectional-scanner-thinkdiag/
Hi. In the thinkdiag 1 ( TKD01) can you do coding to some care? Thank you
Thank you for the detailed review, i have a question about car profiles, in fact i bought the mini topdo obd2 to diag my transmission dct7 ( vibration at 1 and 3 gear ) but couldn't find my engine, it's a 1.6 crdi awd mhev dct7 Kia Sportage nq5 2022. Any chance you could check if it has it so i can buy it ? Thank you very much
If you mean access to transmission or engine modules, it can do it.
@@iamcarhacker but before you need to select the correct engine, with topdon when i enter my vin it doesn't find the correct engine, can you please check if the 1.6 crdi awd mhev dct is available? Than you very much for your time.
THANK YOU
NP
hi I have the thinkdiag 2 and I tried to find the car mileage on my kia and I couldn't find it, I tried on a toyota and found it. what is the problem with the kia?
It depends on car model how many mileage records it is storing. For KIA there are less records apparently.
I have a 2013 ford fiesta mk7.5, could i active cruise control with this software?
Maybe if your car supports this coding. But to be sure ask the seller before buying.
if the software is not updated, the scanner will work for older models or an update is required

Nice one
Thanks 🔥
Need a cheap one for Japanese key fobs/immobilizers.
For that I would rather get dedicated key programming tool, like Autel KM100
This is the same price as the OBDLINK MX+ which would you say is the better tool for coding at beginner level?
Depends on what cars you need to code....obdlink is great for bimmercode (bmw) and carista (toyota, lexus, vag)
@@iamcarhacker I'd be coding Mitsubishi L200. Ford transit. Mazda CX30.
Hi, what happen after one year finised : if you don't pay fee, can you use it, or only obdII remains functional ?
You can use it, but only OBD-II functions so it will have same functionality as engine code reader.
@@iamcarhacker ok thanks, so after a year of use it becomes a simple ObdII code reader at 20-30$....I find that it is expensive to pay for a year when you are not professional and you only do some diagnosis. I prefer to choose the xtool A30M which has a better interface and which is free for life, even if it is a little less efficient.
Yes xTool A30 is a great choice to get similar functionality and avoid yearly fees. You just won't have ECU coding and smaller vehicle coverage but all the other functions should work as with Thinkdiag :)@@zw3245
it's very good to have compared with the Topdon, it shows that no scanner is perfect, the comparison test between devices remains the rarest but the most interesting test!
Can you code a BMW to know it has a new battery with that?
Yes
Not cheap during next 5 years
You have to compare it to scan tools since it has that functionality and scan tool will cost 3-5x more on updates than this so it is cheap
