Thanks for all of the Info on the Turbo m111 build, currently building mine as a 2.4L turbo stroker here in the states and I've used your videos as the main framework.👍
Hey Alex, I am going to build my M111(2.3 kompressor). Where can I purchase the MLS head gasket as Stern Garage no longer offers it. Also, great video and I will make sure to get these bolts.
@@Zetrikz1 so the headgaskets do seem to be difficult to find it maybe worth emailing stern garage, however I believe the guys at hedgehog Motorsport in Thailand are making them I believe are making them still, you can find them on Facebook and I believe they have a website, I hope that helps 👍
@@siimk7437 but is that a brand new stock Victor reinz gasket? I mean the original for when people try to do "bolt on boost" turbo conversions, basically on a unopened block. There are a lucky few but from my own experience and the experience of many others the fibre gasket doesn't seem to hold up to well in turbo applications. Before the current build we did used to run the fibre gaskets, but didn't find them reliable hence the current build getting a MLS headgasket but we're also going for higher power and reliability. Also depends on turbo sizing too these engines seem to respond best with T04E size turbos up to GT30 anything bigger seems to push standard gasket a bit to far
A Big thank you to @Boost Worx for the information about W202 store selling these 🙏👍
w202 store is made by great youtuber CZSmotorsport. He sells copper gasket for m111 too. He got so many good parts for us mercedes owners.

Great Video, will the extra length cause any problems?
Thank you, not in this case as the extra length is on the top side and there is enough clearance 👍
@@M-oneeleven-M111 Awesome thank you

I don't know, stock (victor reinz) headgasket seems to hold 1.9bar boost okay, just use new headbolts
