Any recommendations on how to remove all the dense gunk between the handle and the pot/pan itself. I have the hardest time and I feel it doesn't look great and probably isn't sanitary.
Elbow grease and a Brillo pad...or a wire brush if you are careful and won't scratch the copper too much. Ideally after the pan is quite warm so the stuff is softer.
I found the use spray oven cleaner in a sealed plastic bag overnight works like magic on my 100 year old plus copper pans …I only needed to do this once on the toughest of crud… hope this helps…
The coat of oil helps, and hopefully your hands, etc...but if you're worried, every time you use it, wipe a very very very very thin coat of oil on before you fill and cook...the heat from cooking will help polymerize the oil more...and essentially over time you'll "season" your handles. :)
You're great! Thanks for sharing your copper work!
Thank you! Appreciate the eyes!
Thank you

Fantastic reply - thanks for sharing on here!!! xoxoxo
thanks for the video. how do you ensure the handles don’t rust again once the handle gets washed with soap?
