for me this album is really like a movie: 1. intro - begging, it's fr sound like an ost to drama 2. justice, stomp, 2 rings - both bringing people to fight and the fight itself 3. fireflies - farewell to the one's who lost and comforting the one's who still can live on so many emotions in just ~15, dreamcatcher is THE group for sure
When I say my jaw dropped when I saw the length time of the intro and then I listened to it not knowing what to expect... This is their best intro. This may be one of the best Kpop intros period.

Fireflies has officially stolen my heart. I know this season's theme is all about justice, cowgirls, badassery, etc. but the harmonies in Fireflies are utterly unparalleled, I am entranced. #1 ballad without question 😭
Whoever composed the Intro is a progressive rock fan. It is pure prog and amazing. I have always said that fans of DC are fans of symphonic prog rock without even realising it. This whole album is even more along those lines.

Something not too far removed from DC and an easy listen is is an album called 'Secrets of Angels' by the band 'Karnataka'. If you wanted heavier (more metal) then maybe the bands 'Dream Theater' or 'Within Temptation'. (As an addition to my previous comment the whole notion of groups having a 'lore' or story line that links all their output is a very prog rock thing to do.)
@@thaysa5953 If you want the classics you have Pink Floyd; most people would probably recommend Dark Side of the Moon or The Wall, but my favourite is Animals. Early Genesis is also great. 2112 by Rush is another obvious highlight. If you want something slightly less known, try Kingston Wall (they only made 3 albums; all 3 are excellent). For more modern stuff, I'd recommend Nightwish's album Endless Forms Most Beautiful (particularly the song The Greatest Show on Earth). People may argue it's symphonic rock, but that's just semantics.
The alien-ish synths in the intro implied the ones in 2 rings I realized. The intro literally is an overview of what’s to come with this amazing mini album

A strong, instrumental introduction that usually introduces the main musical themes in the performance is called an overture when you're in the theater at least! in fireflies it sounds like handong is harmonizing with the members in a big part of the song, i love how they sound toghether! idk if i was the only one hearing handng on the harmonies througth the song.
