Slap the VHS player on with pre-advertisement featuring movie trailers and music videos such as The Crystal Method and Marilyn Manson, followed by the movie while smashing some sweet treats.

I remember seeing Spawn in the movie Theater. 42 years old and this soundtrack still sits firmly in my memory.
First time I heard this I was 10 and I was hooked. Literally the first song I ever fell in love with. 10 years later I am still bumping this track.
When I first heard this I thought the lead singer was Perry Farrell (Jane's Addiction) but later learned it was Richard Patrick of Filter. Love it of course. Still in hibernation mode for the pandemic. Music keeps me from becoming psychotic.

It is Filter.
The original was just an electronic track done by Crystal Method (of the album Vegas).
Filter collaborated with them on this song and revamped it for the Spawn Soundtrack.
It's Richard Patrick and I think either Geno Lenardo or Brian Leisgang on guitar.
Such a good song... as a kid I always looked forward to the credits for Spawn. This song + The Long Hard Road Out of Hell by Marilyn Manson.

Richard Patrick, is one of THE coolest peeps evah!! when Filter first bean in 94ish, we got backstage and talked forever about his days in NIN and spilled some interesting things about Trent and Marilyn Manson who was not really famous yet. my lips are sealed. But Richard was funny, drun as me and epic!

Great song, and one of the few on the Spawn soundtrack that was worthwhile - but then again, Crystal Method can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned.
I LOVE this song.... But I can't enjoy it fully with these lags :( It's such a shame! Grah!!

The "lags" are not lags, they are intentional damage to the sound track by the copyright holders. The purpose is to lower the quality to the point where no one wants to download it or mirror it. Unfortunately, it also means you can't enjoy the music.
I take these videos and repair them myself using an AWS and a clean rip of the track. I then re-upload them just long enough for some fans to mirror them and then I take them down... just to give the finger to the douche bags. After that, they get viral mirrored and they can't do shit about it.

I remember when I first saw this video at age 12 or 13 immediately following the end credits of "Spawn". My mom flipped out and asked me "Do you know what 'trip' means?" LOL. It's a classic video.
Same! :D My friend and I got the OST CD immediately, something we did often at that age, and it usually was some good music, especaially for us kids who wouldnt know it otherwise.

Filter were so unique to me because I didn't know that I was already of fan of theirs before I knew they were the same band. First video I watched was this in 97 then I rented The Crow 2 and the music video to Jurrusitol was at the end of the VHS and loved that song too and by 1999 Welcome to the Fold... I had to go on the internet when it was new to find out it was all the same band... I fucking loved it.

Late 1990 or early 2000 something, I was listening to this on a first generation MP3 Player that I kept in a plastic cigarette waterproof case, riding a Seadoo XP Limited Jetski jumping wakes behind barges on the Ohio River. Summer of 2020, quarantining at home, listening to same song but missing the good times!
