  • A charter with Sunlight On Water brought us to Kahului Bay of Big Island Hawaii near Kona. There, we swam with wild dolphins.

Beautiful footage. I am so happy for you to have this experience. I want to add that people in the water with our beloved Spinner dolphins need to SLOW down. I'm sure you did:) Show aloha and respect to quiet, slowing moving dolphins. The Bay is their “bedroom”. Do not pursue or touch the Nai'a (dophins). If you float or swim slowly with arms by your side, sometimes curious dolphins may choose to interact with you. Diving or kayaking into the pod when dolphins comes up for air cause stress to the pod. Aloha!
