I want Lego to miniaturize this into a city set!
cant believe you made the operators Australian and everything...very detailed
Love, love, love your chairlift!!! Wonderful!
Thank you!
@ Michael Pearlman, James Wedding: Correct, It is Weather with You, but it's been residing in my collection as a download for a long time now, I can't remember who covered it...
Hi timmy, this totally kicks ass. Got two kids totally in love with ropeways, gondolas etc...spent a whole weekend watchin those. Could you please help me a bit. Trying to build a lame home ropeway. What wheel rims did you use on the little seats? How do they attach to the rope? Any chance of getting some close pictures? Much appreciated!
I could send u some picture using the same mecanisme
How does the control panel work, I am trying to make a Lego detachable chairlift and I have been struggling to get the wires to work.
so cool! love the creativity!
Well done!
What did you use for string ? I've tried this back in 1990 but never was able to find a string that wouldn't turn around from the weight of the chairs. Made a copy of Åre cabin lift instead :)
I would use butcher twine. Relatively strong yet light
Hey Man!
Is there anyway you would have the electrical scheme???
I’m really struggling with mine so it would be a big help if you can!
All thats missing is snow and a couple skiers!
It's Crowded House's Weather with You, but I'm not sure who covered it.
Nice!
One more question. Where did you get the printout for the dashboard controller in the top station. I actually did mine on PowerPoint with lines and whatnot but yours looks a little more realistic
Hast du toll gemacht 👏 👏 bin gerade in. Österreich und mache Urlaub und einige wissen was Österreich ist (Skigebiet)
Where did you get the bell that is used in the stations?
How to build this totorial pls.
SO COOL Timmy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
+1 for the music, who/what is it?
Was ist das für ein Seil?
2mm nylon
Gut gemacht eh?
That is faster than your detachable gondala 👋🤔
Correct. The other one was relatively slow because that made it easier to accelerate the cabins to line speed.
This is dope!
Work a bit on the seats and the balance from them. But man, im jealous at your skill and dedication. Impressive again!
ProMinecrafter36: I made it using OpenOffice Draw. It allows for a little more fine-tuning of the shapes than PowerPoint does. And about the bell, it was this one: www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/620928/Heidemann-70027-Laeutewerk-Weiss-8-VAC?ref=searchDetail (the website's in German)
It says 8 volts, but as long as you don't use it for long consecutive periods, it should be fine.
Thank you;)
where can you buy the wheels in the station
+Kuzie22 There you go: www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-wheel-75-x-17mm-88517
Do u cover the station when it rains?
No. The water does not damage the materials, and there are no sensitive electronics in the terminals, so this is not necessary. The control panel is covered with a plastic bag.
+TheTimmy376 o ok thanks =)
I usually make a station and put tape on it
were can i buy this
From someone who has the time to build one ;)
bad ass
What grip do you use?
You can briefly see it at 1:57, when the chair passes the uphill side of tower 3. The cable is essentially 'woven' through the grip. This effectively uses some of the tension force to keep the chairs from sliding.
You should make a video of a dramatic chairlift accident of some kind :)
Someday I just might, stay tuned ;)
Lanovka zadov.
urr.what happans when it rains??😐😐
Not much, provided the lift was stopped. The drive motor was in the top terminal, which was indoors. We'd just close the window, and put a plastic bag over the outdoor control panel to protect it. The rubber liners on the sheaves were the only parts that occasionally needed replacing due to weather, as they didn't seem to handle the humidity and direct sunlight very well. Other than that, the weather never caused any damage.
It must Snow
Is there anywhere you can get a Lego kit for a chairlift like this?
