It's "Aadd2". The "B" on the violas is the 2nd of the chord and it clashes nicely with the 3rd "C#" on the 1st violins. If that "B" was an octave higher it would've been a "Aadd9" chord
I love following along with classical scores, and this is probably the first time I've seen a double bass ensemble part in tenor clef. That is really interesting.
Realmente deliciosa !.-Desde la primera hasta la última.El compositor demuestra convicción absoluta en lo que concibe y escribe.-Una partitura diáfana, sencilla y que logra un efecto magnífico.-
I have no idea how many times I've listened to this suite. I think it may be my favorite short suite. (Short in comparison to suites like the nutcracker)
I have played this piece at Orchestra firstly on the Second Violin in my early twenties and more recently on the viola. Like the Picardy Third in the first movement and the fourth - both times the viola has the F# and the B Natural, respectively.
I completley forgot I preformed this with the Colburn String Orchestra in like 2017. This got reccomended to me on a whim. This shit unlocked a memory. What a trip.
@@ethantamales They are one in the same! Check out this video. Together with concert leader Henning Kraggerud, and arguably even beyond him, the lead cellist, Torun Stavseng, absolutely steals the show. Even the second cello is visibly impressed (or perhaps greatly amused) during the Bransles, around 4:50: ua-cam.com/video/OdibDKnp7Mc/v-deo.html
In hs orchestra we did the first movement for competition. Our concertmaster and I were the only ones out of the outside firsts that could do the upper octave. Thankfully, his violin could project well. So all you heard was one or two great sounding upper octave and all these out of tune lower octaves on the first violin part. Lol Hilarious memory. Somehow, we managed to get first place 😂

It brings me back old memories
“Pieds-en-l’Air” is I believe also the melody to “Touch her Sweet Lips and Part”

i play bass
i dont get it
where’d the bass go ;-;
@@PrimePopCatthere's no bass required in the movement
@@chrisoconnor9521 ah ok
I'm just here for that chord in bar 12
you’d probably then love the chords from 9:00-9:38
wow what is that chord even?
@@ricardoh87 it's just A Major with an added B Natural from the viola. I'd probably say however that it would be C#Min7(#5)

Played this about 3 hours ago in an orchestra. Loved it
What instrument did you play?

Norwegian Chamber Orchestra is the one that is performing the Music right now.

The Pavane reminds me of “Coventry Carol”
THANK you! I was wondering why this piece always says "Christmas" to me!
It’s similar, but try researching « belle qui tient ma vie » on youtube. 😉
My favorite version : ua-cam.com/video/AMWvm4wtzi4/v-deo.html
I've listened to it already five times in a row
What a delightful music.
Wonderful music expertly performed. Bravo!
Thank you Rodrigo Disilva
8:29 is the best part, but it is sadly so short!
Lovevly neo Music!!
Is it only me who hears a bit of Schubert's Death and Maiden at the beginning of the Pavane?
Jean Parke I hear it. I played movements 1,2 and 6 my senior year of high school for large group festival
It's an arrangement of Arbeau's "Belle qui tiens ma vie"

Hi... who is performing this Suite? It´s actually really really good!
i think it's Norwegian Chamber Orchestra who performed this
@@wilsonmatthew3473 yeah, it's incredibly similar audio to the footage of them performing it
@@Axolautism that’s because it IS the audio of them playing it

isn't this Norwegian Chamber Orchestra's recording?
