Onew is on health hiatus. He is not well and was not able to continuing filming and did not participate in their 15th anniversary concert last weekend. Praying he is healing and will be with us again soon.
For sure. He is definitely missed cos I love when they are together performing and also to celebrate with this significant anniversary and TOTAL Comeback. BUT health is more important. I am sure we shall get to see them perform these songs as a group in future stages and future concerts. GET WELL and BLESSINGS Onew.

SHINee challenged the hybrid hip-hop genre for the first time in this comeback. It's been 15 years, but I think SHINee's charm is to continue to challenge musically and artistically
I feel like the piano is a metaphor for their music career, and how they can't and won't be defined to one genre of music even though SM has tried multiple times to keep them doing R&B and Hip-Hop, they've expanded beyond that now. It's how they feel they have broken the mold and standards placed on them by breaking out of the piano. They will always continue to experiment and do their best at whatever they decide to do and I'm here for it.
Key's version of the chorus is especially good. All of them are great, but Key going so low, which he rarely does, with that teeth clenched delivery and so sensual with that facial expression, with that sultriness in his expression, that finger almost nibble, and that body arch after... really punctuated the whole trilogy of choruses.
It making me laugh everytime I hear someone saying “who is gonna stan shinee these days” like srsly 💀 how you expect from me to stop staning these talented people I will never, since Sherlock till now they’re still one of ults

it depends on which era you started stanning them and to what kind of music you're used to. I grew up with '90s HipHop. This is one of my instant favorite songs by SHINee now.
If you pay attention they are actually stuck inside of a piano and they are trying to break free ! As taemin gets blue hands the piano starts leaking blue liquid and it even shows inside the piano since it appears behind onew on the screen.... I guess the blue liquid represents their freedom in their actions or something like that
This has grown on me to be sure. Ik Shinee was the og experimental SM group, but I suppose their vocals are so top tier that it's odd not having them pop off. I think if it was a different group that wasn't SM i wouldn't listen.. that's the power of SM
They all sound so good but Onew is just exceptional on this. His voice always cuts through. Taemin is so good on the part with the piano flowing blue. The guys really had a unique sound and of course, they really made the song fun and exciting to listen to. Their styling was so vibrant, and the dancers were all hitting it. YAY SHINee!! I thought Taemin's hands with the blue was a throwback to Advice and even looked like his same moves from the Advice video.
No doubt he is an exceptional singer but after listening to this sing at their concerts I can say taemin & key are also more than capable of hitting those high notes if they need to. All & all everyone in shinee can do everything as jjong said there is no main vocal in shinee. 😊
Onew's temporary 'hiatus' was announced before the album came out, so I assume that they were filming the music video when Onew had to leave for his health
I also think that most likely something happened during the filming of the MV and that's why they didn't finish the video together. Onew had a very busy schedule, and then there was preparation for the release of a new album, new choreographies, meetings with fans. I think around that time, he was told if you want to keep doing what you're doing, it's time to take care of yourself and take a break..
They always show a different version of themselves with this unique essence and what I love, they evolve with their music. I love rap and melody and the bridge is divine. There's a lot of symbolism in there, and Taemin said there's a lot of references to him, but oh my god, I'm obsessed with this album. I will add that I see them refer to hate and being trendsetters and strong and I watch them prepare their concerts, I see a combination of everything SHINee back

Thank you for reacting to SHINee's HARD! (I can see you and your crew having some fun with this one!) It's possible Onew could only film on the first day before going on a medical hiatus. The members had to reconstruct/adjust the choreo for three for each of the songs. (Usually they'll leave a space, like they do for Jonghyun in the classics.) Anyway, it looks like they've been trapped, in a sense, in the piano (representing music and/or idol system?), and now they've decided to break free. The blue? A torrent of emotion and pent up feelings or something, finally filling up and spilling over (that line reminds me of Cris Williamson's song, Waterfall), and they break free to live life their way. They escape the confines of the piano/system, and you can see the remains of the piano in the background. There are Shawols (like Milinda Wilson and Saddlemomma) who will be able to analyze in depth. That's another thing I love about SHINee. They tend to go deep with the symbology. I'm currently crushing hard on the album! Have fun with it, and enjoy! The variety show appearances and their Road Trip are also fun. I'm looking forward to seeing them on Jaejae's show (MMTG) soon. Take care 💜
Yeah Onew is missing from several scenes... It's pretty obvious he was there for day 1 of the mv shooting, but then something happened and unfortunately he couldn't make it to day 2, so they had no choice but to finish it up without him.
Sort of like when Jjong couldnt film and do some promotions during the "Why so serious" MV. I think he was in a car accident. They worked around his healing and i have seen clips of him sitting in the audience and then walking on stage at the end when they finished a performance. That is what I like about them as a group and brothers - they rally hard around each other, their creativity and support each other (very protective of each other) and Shawols like crazy. That is what keeps me stanning them - they met through business (as Jjong once said 🙂 - but chose to be brothers and family. So Onew - your family misses you and supports you as you heal so you can join us again. Key, Minho and Taemin have done and are doing brilliantly (as you know) representing and holding the fort (as expected) - but i am sure they miss you being with them. Shinee 4ever

Blue is their colour. In a way, they're trapped by the music (most of the video happens while they're inside the piano), but actually, they (aka the blue "blood") are the ones fuelling the music. The whole overflowing is how they're not bound to one instrument/genre.

I think he worked hard none stop from 2022. He finished the broadway - jumped into the Japanese 1 concert (album before that) - It was an extended tour I believe- then the Korean Album(Circle - my ears and eyes are so blessed to listen to and see almost everyday I find myself just repeating that album) - 1st Korean concert and recording Shinee Comeback album (I just just got tired writing all . So wear and tear on the body was bound to happen. My hope is that with rest - slowing down and regrouping will do him a world of good. I am sure he has great people around him supporting his healing so he can be back.
