Glad to see they're finally keeping up with technology; I bought durable LED's from an online source for under a hundred bucks. Can't even buy old 80-90's style replacements for that price
They seem great but my first thought is that when I'm out in a snowstorm and its coming down hard light impedes your vision. Every snow flake is becomes reflective and blinds you. Same when the wind picks up after a storm. Do these's do what I figure or have they somehow engineered around this?
Don Hanson the bright white LED vs standard halogen (yellow) lights are no comparison. I'm shopping right now for either BOSS OR Western new plow. the new boss lights are awesome! you can see so much clearer/better
Randy Holder it's not even their original design. JW speaker has had the same exact design and still does for led headlights. JW speakers are similar in price too.
Great lights but cheap materials. I got my new boss HTX plow and the light snapped off the frame in a couple months of work. It’s plastic! How reliable is that... Come on Boss, I spent $5,000 for something good. And I get some plastic toy. -_-
Most overpriced piece of outdoor equipment I have even seen. ITs so obscene my next plow will not be a BOSS Plow. $600-$800 to upgrade my current set up. I can purchase a 60" bar for my roof and still have money left over. I would over pay a bit to upgrade but the current price is a slap in the face for buying BOSS products.
these lights suck. too dim and you cannot see much at night. they are using the high beam in the video compared to the halogens. i had to wire a 20 inch led bar in between the lights in order to safely drive at night. do not be fooled by this upgrade
plowing snow since the 70s boss SSVee plow and sl3 lights the best

5000k is the best for human eyes amber shows contours anything more at night is serious eye strain over a couple hours.
Notice how to can’t raise up lights to see anything
How easy would it be to do a retrofit of these onto a western plow?
We do not have a recommendation as it has not been tested for other brands. Give us a call at 800-286-4155 option #2 if you have additional questions.
BOSS SNOWPLOW thanks for the reply. I probably won't be purchasing a snow plow now of any brand
where is the turn signals on this light?
Salvador Soto they're built into the LED light and they work GREAT
I was wondering the same
that Nice bright white light is Great Unless it's snowing then is White on White wall

The boss older lights are the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. Constantly breaking bulbs. Its outrageous. Cant get the bulb shields back on

To expensive for an upgrade on my Boss Plow
$ 1000.⁰⁰ lights have aPLASTIC NUT housing that are created to STRIP & SLIP downward until properly specced down with threadlock paste. BAD BAD DESIGN
