Marry The Night is I think my favourite song performed on this show. It’s just stunning.

Incidentally, I still think it was a missed opportunity that Kurt didn't tell Elliott he was "theatrical". IYKYK. But Kurt taking any excuse to speak French is in character.

Great show - since then Keke Palmer has been in movies like Nope & Lightyear, Greg Proops who was Max Madigan has also recurred on WHose Line is it Anyway, Matt Shively has appeared on numerous sitcoms including Lopez vs Lopez, Ashley Argota recurred on The Fosters, etc.

I actually really enjoy all of the seasons of Glee and I think Season Five is a lot of fun!

Why? He was right and being a good teacher. Marley basically gave the assignment the finger. Sam was the one that brought up the bikini. She could have chosen a different costume. Then, he held her accountable.

@@brynncastillo6978No, you're just being very very annoying. He was right, she was told to do an assignment. Whether it was a bikini or a different outfit she'd be comfortable in, she decided to not only wear Katy during a Lady Gaga performance but wear literally something that didn't exactly seem comfortable for someone who didn't want to wear something that made her feel uncomfortable. Everyone else had to wear what they had to wear. I love Marley but this part, she just kind of disobeyed when she was told to do an assignment, she wasn't told she HAD to wear something that she didn't feel comfortable in but instead of looking for other costumes, she chose to do Katy instead.
Penny was supposed to be a love interest for Finn.

Will once again being a douche. It's getting harder and harder to defend him. But honestly I'm more disappointed in the other Glee kids who didn't say anything and even agreed. The amount of times Marley has been screwed over by these people is absurd. Regarding Marley and Jake, I am definitely on Marley's side. He had been pressuring her way before that night. They hadn't even talked about having sex but he just assumed and had this whole thing planned out without even asking her. And I'm sorry but if you break up or even THINK about cheating on your significant other because they won't have sex, you're a douche. I get sex is an important thing in a relationship but if you truly love that person you'll respect them enough to wait. And if you're a douche, at least it's better to be honest than cheat.
Apparently Penny was supposed to be Finn‘s love interest in S5. If so, it makes sense why there's absolutely no chemistry between her and Sam. I just don't get why they didn't create a new character altogether for Sam, or if they had already hired the actress then change her character.
The Wide Awake performance is so underrated. I already love the original version but that arrangement was so beautiful. But yeah, how they portrayed Katy Perry as this 'wholesome anti-Gaga' was so weird, when she literally had a breakout song about kissing another woman and liking it, and was naked in the California Gurls music video just covering her privates. Gaga vs. Taylor or even Katy vs. Taylor would've made more sense, at least back in 2013.
The Marry The Night performance is hands down on of the best performances of Glee EVER (fun fact: Naya was actually filming it - though I don't think she ever posted it online). I know Adam Lambert is pretty big in the industry, touring with Queen and all, but I feel like he's still so underrated, especially among younger people. He is SO talented, and not just the voice but the style and charisma as well. Also, Demi's high note in Roar used to be my ringtone for the longest time. SHE DID THAT!!!!

Remember when Shue berated the club for doing a song perceived too provocative in front of the whole school? Now he is suspending a girl for not wearing a provocative costume she is uncomfortable in for a practice performance for just the club.
That isn't why he suspended her, though. She purposely didn't do the assignment and mess up the performance. He overreacted, but he did not suspend her over not wearing a provocative costume.
