    Please review the last part of this video. you are saying that "anyone that is hyperventilating, their numbers will FALL dramatically on the capnography and
    if they are not breathing adequately their level of numbers will RISE quickly on the capnography"
    it should be that, anyone who is hyperventilating, their numbers will FALL dramatically on the ABG (NOT ON THE CAPNOGRAPHY) and will RISE dramatically on the capnography monitor...

      Why would hyperventilation lead to increasing acidity? She is correct. You’re blowing out CO2 at a rapid rate, whereas not breathing out would retain it.

      @Overly Reminiscent Grandpa hyperventilating means you're burning off more co2 and hydrogen than you're consuming. So if you're hyperventilating a patient there co2 is high causing them to be more alkaline than acidic. A low co2 below 35 results in acidosis. Hopefully this helps friend.
