I saw this last Thursday afternoon. I came up from Littlehamption for the day to see this. This was the first ever show I have seen at The Curve. You two have championed the theatre and it's productions and I can now see why. An amazing afternoon in the theatre. I have known the show's songs for so long but had never seen a live production. The whole cast were great and were so friendly after the show. Will be back again to the The curve soon.
Great review (as ever) Leggers. Having only previously seen the film adaptation, I caught this stunning production last week, sharing all of your collective enthusiam for it. I similarly felt that the only real critism is that some of the drama gets diluted within the frenetic rhythm of the piece, with there being a few moments that could use a little more breathing space to land more convincingly. That said, there is still more than enough to connect with and a fabulous balance of humour, pathos and pithiness. At 1hr 50 straight through I was worried that it might not sustain my full attention for the duration, but come the dazzling finale I could've sat for another hour in the company of these brilliantly inhabited characters. What a stellar ensemble cast, with absolutely no weak links. This is hands down my favourite musical production of 2021, toppling Anything Goes (Life of Pi being my favourite play), and even though it's been a restricted year I feel this would still be at the top (or thereabouts) had I seen more shows. At a time of much uncertainty and potential darkness, this production really delivered on being a captivating couple of hours of glorious stagey tonic. Seasons greetings to you both (and the not-so-little leggers). I hope that you all have a festively warm and safe Crimbo.
Pause at 10:16 trust me 😂😂 xx fab review as always boys! Thank you!! X A Chorus Line is my favourite musical! I’m hoping to catch it before the end of the run! Xx

I’m sure we did a number from the show at college Nathan. 1st year project. Love you guys and your reviews.
Yes MTAS represent!
I hate when a show “can’t go on” - I grew up thinking “the show must go on!” Brilliant review!
Amazing review guys! Someone really should write a back story for Zach so we can find out why he is the way he is. I agree he's a bit a of creep.
