- I’ve been wondering what the best hunting pellets are for my Umarex Gauntlet 2 in .25 caliber and I bet a lot of you might have been wondering the same thing! So today we’re going to solve that mystery and test several hunting options then I will narrow it down to the best 4 choices which I will show you in this video.
Today were working with the JSB Hades, and knock outs. We also have some H&N barracuda hunters and some slugs.
My G1 with the transfer port and barrel opened up to .201" and Hajimoto Super Tune Kit likes the 33.95 Mk II's 853 FPS 55 ft lbs.
At 50 it is under 1" haven't tried it at 100 yet.

Those groups for air rifle pellet testing at 100 yards are pretty good, a pleasant surprise to me was the Barracuda Hunter, I'll have to try some of those.
Range and grouping is great but what about penetration at 100 yards? How ethical will kills be when hunting?
Also the Benjamin Marauder magazines will work fine in this gun!
Not bad for a "budjet friendly" .25 cal!
Id like to see some videos of fx drs classic .25 doing long range shooting. All im seeing are videos with pcp air rifles with tanks on..i think thats ugly. I want a traditional lookimg rifle long tnage shootimg. High ft lbs of energy

While you might be able to have the pellet, or pellets, that perform with extreme accuracy,
what kind of actual impact forces in ethical kill energy are you able to achieve ?
Love the hades in mine! Laser accuracy with them at 50
25.39 are pretty dang good trying some avs slugs and hn hunter extremes were ok all gouped better than my friends can shoot at 50 and 100 lol 😆.
You don't think the AT44 qe Long.25 caliber is better? I don't know?

The drop on 100 yards is too much my challenger pro doesn't have that much in 100 i am thinking about expanding my collection with a gauntlet in 30 cal what are your thoughts? I have a challenger pro in 30 and an unarex hammer

What flashlight/Infared light adapter is that on there? I just purchased one on amazon and there wasn't enough clearance on my ATN 4K Pro.

why dont you put some self stick targets on that steel plate?
cause they are a pain in the butt to get off the sticky residue when I go to repaint the steel.

Nsa slugs or Griffen or avs or slugs.
Pretty hard to jam most slugs in a Guantlet breech

I've seen you shoot better. With a better rest and a consistent aim point you could easily have closed those groups up by inches.
